Doesn't surprise me. John Kerry probably couldn't decide if he was a left winger or a right winger. He still can't.

Tom Glavine was pitching for the Braves until signing with the Mets.

NHL.com has this article, "Glavine Cherishes His Hockey Roots" about Tom Glavine. He was drafted in the 4th Round, 69th overall, in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings.

In the article is this,
Quote:
"I still follow the Bruins," he said. "That was the team I followed as a kid growing up, but I also try and keep up with what the Kings are doing. After all, they were the team that drafted me and wanted to take a chance on me. And I have gone to Thrashers games as well. And now that I'm in New York, I try and catch a Rangers game if possible."

Here are two names that havent been mentioned:

Al Jourgenson of Ministry is a BlackHawks fan. He has stated that in a few interviews.

Alan Thickle, not sure what team, but hasnt he hosted a few NHL events and participated in a few charity hockey tournaments.

I would wager alot of the celebrities listed in this thread are not really hockey fans. Some probably just wear the jersey of the team their from to make it look like they support the home team. Also those rappers that can be seen wearing a different jersey (all sports) for each concert/video etc etc. It's a fashion/trend thing, like those stupid baseball hats thats a totally different colour then what it should be. For example: What true NY Yankee fan would wear a Yankee hat that is green with a red NY?

Adam Duritz once performed a concert in a Mathieu Schneider jersey. apparently they are good friends and were even before Schneider was a king

edit: oh someone already mentioned that..Adam lived in Berkeley and tends to follow bay area teams. he is also very good friends with Barry Zito (Oakland As) so if he has a favorite hockey team it MAY be the sharks

he grew up in winnipeg and still wears winnipeg jets stuff on WWE...but i'm not sure if he 'adopted' a new team after the jets left
