they should play less on mondays and wednesdays, only days in the week i can't see anything of the game, and the rangers are 7-1-1 when i'm watching at least a part of the game

The garbage can was still upright when [the media] went in, so that didn’t happen. Sometimes you just have to illuminate things we weren’t real good at and challenge your team in other ways with their thought process. Where they are, where they think they are, and help them deal with reality. That’s more of what we did tonight.”
I think thats the right way to go about this loss. It was a throwaway, that was a horrendous 2nd period, and overall a lackluster effort.

Move on. Its better to learn from our mistakes now than later.

My exact problem with Renney is that he didn't throw the garbage can. After embarassing Hank like that.

You dont throw the garbage can in November with one of the best records in the league. You do it if they're playing like this in March. You dont show your hand that early, these are professionals, not teenagers.

I was being more rhetorical - he doesn't ever throw the proverbial garbage can - no matter what happens.

Unless you are in the lockerroom or at practice or in close door meetings, you just don't know what he does or does not do.

Did anyone see what was posted about Renney giving Hank the nod to come out in the "Rangers/Vancouver" thread on the main board? I woul link/quote it but i'm on my phone. The basic gist of the quote was Renney and Lunqvist looked at each other and Renney gave him the nod to head to the bench. This was from a Sweedish reporter who spoke to Lundqivst after the game.

Yeah, it was me who posted it. It was our mr Swedish blog Rangers homer journalist who asked Henrik about it, after the game in the locker room, and Henrik told him his version of the story.

As dire as the performance was last night, i'd rather wait and see how they come out next game before really judging anything. Maybe it'll take a blowout like that to light a fire inside, because a poor first 20-30 minutes this season is hardly anything new. I hate shouting at the television at 3am, but if in a few months time it can be looked back on as some kind of turning point then it might just be seen as a good thing.

Oh, and hi, nOOb here.

Maybe the team was paying attention to that and not the game.

And with more upside you would expect to be more offensive right? Play a little more toward the opposing net.

Its not happening.

Yeah no kidding. Every game they show these models on the scoreboard and I never know who they are even though I wish I did.

On the complete opposite side, I saw Pierre Mcguire interviewing Dubi before the game..his hand didn't leave his shoulder once. I think he has been added to the Phaneuf/Schenn group.
