New official lines for tonight

Tanguay-Koivu-Latendresse
Higgins-Plekanec-Kovalev
Kostopoulos-Lang-A.Kost
S.kost-Bégin-Laraque

D's are the same

Carey Price in nets

much better!

Much better

Latendresse and Higgins both go where they belong, and Left Wing Liberation has finally worked

I'm pretty sure Andrei is playing on the left, Kostopoulos usually plays right wing.

So I guess Carbo agrees with some reporters, that Small Tit has some issues with work ethic.

These lines are way better, but I don't like where A.Kostitsyn is playing. Nothing against Lang and Kostopoulos but he is a much better (and different style) player then those two. I would like to see him play with Tanguay and Koivu, but Latendresse has played better of late and deserves a shot there too.

Go Habs Go!

Almost Carbo... but why oh why did he split the brothers? They played a really good game against Carolina. It was our best line despite being our 3rd line.

The problem isn't the players, it's Carbonneau. I questioned his coaching three years ago and I still do, he's no longer a rookie coach, no more excuses.

Well, plaing with these 2 could give him a boost, because he has the abilities to dominate... he will be the go to guy on this line...

Yeah, that is a good thing, he will get to control the play more and Kostopoulos should be able to make some room for him out there.

Andrei played a good game, not Sergei, right now he takes waayyyyy too much time with puck decisions, he takes too much time to backcheck, barely hitting for someone who was so gritty last season, 1 game on the 4th line should do him good, and don't be surprised to see him move up with his bro if he has a good game too, i don't think Kostopoulos' feelings will be hurt

The lines are better but Sergei should be playing left wing with his Lang and Andrei and Kosto should be on the 4th line.

Everybody on that team has his own faults, whether the coaches or players.

Carbonneau is a good coach, praised last year, but he still has more to learn and improve on. I think that's a good thing that he is a quality coach and can still get better. Our team is still young and they are all growing together.

Go Habs!

Sergei will be with Lang and Andrei by the 2nd period, if not earlier.

I think that's a great 4th line. Begin and S.Kost can stir the pot and Big Georges can mop the floor. They can't handle the Sens top line but should be able to play with any other line the Sens can ice. Carbo should be able to role those lines.

Are you kidding me? People complain for months about how we need to separate Andrei from Kovalev, put him on RW and give him his own line to lead and now that it actually happens others complain that he's not playing with the right 'style' players?? What a laugh...

the coach makes the decisions...so if they have any anger, it should be directed towards the coach. Who curiously, is also french.

But no, they'll blame the Kostitsyn brother's because they threatened Carbo by telling him if they don't play, they're going back to Russia

'Some' people in the media are so transparant

Carbo can change the lines all he wants, but if his strategy/system remains the same then we will be no better off.

i can live with this. the first 2 are great.

skost on the 4th for a game could be ok, but imo put him back on the 3rd next time.

A.Kostitsyn imo has been one of our best forwards the last few games, so for that he gets moved to the 3rd line with Noskillpoulos, at least he's on the right side, but why not put the brothers together with Lang at least and then have Kostopo running around with Begin while BGL watches from the other end of the rink as he tries to catch up to his linemates.

A.Kost should be on the first line with Koivu and Tang. How can you keep him on the third line after he was our best forward last two games?

crazy idea, put Akost on the RW of Koivu and Tanguay? two passers, one incredible shooter. Feels right!
