I was on youtube earlier today and found a video with Carter that was from maxim.com. He shot an apple off the head of the idiot that was interviewing him or whatever. Has anyone else seen it? It's pretty cool, at least I think it is.

Yeah yeah. I was going to put it up but I got real lazy and realized I didn't know how to put the video in the post like you did. Thanks for helping me out there. The video is cool though, right?

how did you fix the RROD? im tempted to follow one of these tutorial videos doing the X clamp mod since my warranty expired and microsoft was like whoaa hey we didnt do it... blah blah blah. even though i went on the xbox forums and hovercraft pointed out to me that MANY OTHER people have had the same problem i did.

im thinking of maybe holding out and waiting to see if microsoft will cave in and say oh yeah we screwed up with the new xbox live, we'll fix it for free. but i doubt it.

to try to x clamp mod or not?

I didnt have a warranty on mine either. They still fixed it...twice. I sent it back both times and they payed for the shipping and what not. They almost hafta fix it due to it being a product flaw. Call them and raise hell. Not once the second time, did they ask me anything about how long I had it.

A friend said the towel technique works but that you have to do it once a week or so

Pshhh, I taught him how to do that.........

But seriously this just reminded me of the story channel 6 did the other night about a 10 year old girl who was supposed to be playing at the Marian Anderson Award Ceremony for Maya Angelou the other night. Apparently she's been composing music since she was 7.

yeah i called last night and i got one of the first ones ever manufactured its like 10-7-05 or something and the warranty is expired. i did raise hell and they were like well you cant prove that the xbox live update screwed it up. so i was like um ok then explain the 30 other people on the xbox live forum who had the same mistake? of course they couldnt.

as far as the towel trick is concerned im not trying that. that'll fry it once and for good eventually. i guess i'll call back later today and see if i get a different person.

Well if you watch the video you'll see he does miss high and wide the first three shots before hitting it on the fourth which leads me to believe he has a mild form of the "Fulton Reed Disease" which is featured in D1. "1 outta 5."
