I check out HockeyBuzz.com every so often, but it hasnt really stuck out to me. I like reading Bill Meltzer's blogs and Panaccio's as well. Hell, even Eklund's just because I want to laugh sometimes. But I never really thought about ever becoming a guy to write about the Flyers.
I happened to stumble across MyHockeyBuzz and I registered and started to write my first blog yesterday. I finished and wrote another one today. Check it out:

Bloggers are about as cool as herpes.
However, it is gaining popularity. IMHO, this is due to RSS feeds and the ease of having one person do all the work of reporting on something you enjoy (NHL Rumors for example), while injecting humor and their opinions into it (especially if you fidn you agree with what the blogger writes). Then just keep reading the blog when you can, and you have all the news you want, plus someone elses insight, and possibly a good laugh.
Once you find someone who blogs about something that interests you, you don't need to find articles or news about that subject anymore.
You mention your record when you see the Flyers live before the outcome of the game.
Funny that I have a similar problem when I go to see the Flyers in Boston. I have only attended one win in all the games I have seen between the Flyers and Bruins in Boston. That only one was when Roenick won one in OT for the Flyers back in 2002/03 season when Roenick beat Jeff Hackett on a goal very similar to the one he beat Cujo with in the Flyers/Leafs playoff series the following season. Just about the same point of the ice too.
I think my record in Flyers@Boston is something like 1-11-2 or something very close to that.
some insight to your comment about keeping the nameplates the same color. the reason its white is because back then they only had nameplates on the white jerseys. when they were given a national tv spotlight, they needed to put names on the backin a hurry for spectators at home.

Thanks for explaining. I just was never really sure as to why they chose the white nameplate. But, hey, you learn something new everyday.

How about that the 3 worst players on the Flyers in the last 2 years all wore 26. Vandemeer, Modry and Eminger.
I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but this is theoretically spam. Can't really have a thread about it, but you can link it in your signature where the site is (and I think we all know about Hockeybuzz). We don't even allow HF Staff to do it. You cannot directly link your blog though.
