Well, OK, we'll send him back to MTL, but only if Komi and Higgins are sent back to where they belong.

You're living on fanstasy island there buddy.

Forget Komisarek, he's ours for life

As for Higgins, imho that would be very tempting

I think the Isles knew they were tanking when they signed him.

They're not going to trade him unless its for something really good. A salary dump makes no sense 5 months after committing that salary. It's not like they were a team that thought they'd be on player away from the cup and then later realized they were horrible.

Last memorable time we tried to "correct the past" we traded Chelios for Denis Savard

Fact 3: habs need PP spark, and a defensemen

Begin (1M) +Dandy (1.75) + Breezerbois (.75)= 3.5M (all ufa )
Streit= 4.25 M ( 4 more yrs left)

cap wise= makes sense, islanders get rid of contract, and fit well into both team

streit has proved he can play d this year, we can unload three plumbers for a good top 6 defensemen, also this will free up to roster spot to call up two guys from bdogs.

markov-komi
hamrlik-streit
bouillon- gorges
-obryne

I know this makes no sense whatsoever, but its funny what you come up with after speaking to your brother-in-law.

Fact. Much easier to play when you don't actually have to worry about winning.

If Streit was not good enough for Carbo to put him on defense last year why is he now worth 4 mil a year over 5. The ideas on here are freaking comical.

The PP was not the problem tonight, it was playing 45 minutes of trap until Ottawa took the lead.

Imagine if Streit wins the Norris trophy and Grabovsky wins the rookie of the year and Souray wins the comeback of the year and Dagenais wins the Austrian MVP and Pat Traverse wins the 6/49 all this season!
