Carbo needs to put Plek and Kovy together with AKost.
We miss Komisarek.
Sens like to dive a lot.
Kostopoulos is Nonstopoulos.
I completely disagree on your first point. I don't want to see Akost and Kovy back together...ever...again.
Akost is about to break out and get all sick nasty on us, and I can't wait. Putting him back with Kovalev is like teasing him by bringing him out of purgatory only to chuck him back in a few days later.
I never thought i would say this but if Begin plays like he did tonight, he deserve his spot on the 4th line. Thats without taking dumb penalties of course.
I thought this was one of the better defensive games that they've played all season. They didn't give up a lot of high quality scoring chances to the Sens. They'll need to keep playing these tight games until they can figure out how to generate a lot of scoring chances again.
Small Tit did good tonight. He deserved to play with better linemates. Bégin was a beast. I love Koivu-Tanguay combo. Just love it. And Price must be one of the best goalies in SO, save percentage-wise. Wow. The guy looks intimidating.
One thing for sure: Plekanec has looked "like a girl" (pardon the pun) since last year's playoffs. He has zilch confidence. He looks like Oleg Petrov on one leg.
I'd still like to see Andrei with Koivu and Tanguay, I'm just dying to see what it looks like. Andrei has never played with Saku since he's been with the organization.

Good thing is, he ALWAYS play like that against the Bruins. Carbo was definitely getting him in game shape these past few games for saturday night!
This game didn't feel like a turning point. It looks like the habs are still in for tough sledding. I'm looking for some good habits to be instilled into this team and I dont see much improvement in that regard.
Thank god we got to play the sens a couple of times during this stretch.
I really don't know why goalies don't study previous shootouts a bit more, I could tell you exactly what Kovalev, Koviu, Markov and Ruutu were gonna do before they did it.
I thought the Habs actually played pretty well, dominated for pretty good stretches in the late 1st and 3rd.

Well 1 game is not gonna mean a turning point, if it did we would have been great after the last time we beat the sens. But a wins a win and this is as good a game as any to build off of, ya gotta start somewhere.
