Why not? Come on VAN-HAB you seem like an intelligent poster. Dandy is not a defenseman anymore, and Breezer is barely a serviceable one. Combine the two and you're just asking for trouble.
Don't you remember how awful Cube and Dandy were? Well Cube is a way better defenseman than Breezer is.
Hold on I just re-read what you wrote....HARD HITTING of Breezer? lol...are we talking about the same Breezer?
just like some Montreal posters were happy when Begin broke Savards back?
does that mean that all Canadiens fans were happy about his injury?
There are bad seeds everywhere.
Just read about how much Canadiens fans ***** at each other and disagree about the direction of the team and such. While I question how much some are actually Hab fans, the fact of the matter is, with a fanbase with such varied opinions on their team, there's no way they all think the same even when its their player doing something to another.
I didn't believe his back was broken, but that doesn't mean I was happy about it. It was a bone headed move by Begin, plain and simple. Sure, some cheered, but those are the same people who should have never been allowed to play video games because their parents never taught them the difference between fantasy and reality. They want violence to fuel their hormones. That's not a hockey fan.
At least for now? O'Byrne is doing to many mistakes now and as he continues doing mistakes like this he will not improve is confidence
But the only way O'Byrne will get better is by playing and learning from his mistakes. The guy has talent, but only by playing will he become a better defenseman. If he's going to be in the pressbox, might as well send him to the AHL and make Henry the 7th d-man.
I like those lines too. I also want to see Dandenault at the point in PP, this guy was born a PP specialist. He has a heck of a shot.
No he doesn't....good lord do you even watch the games? lol Dandy is so useless that he could be playing with an umbrella instead of a hockey stick and you wouldn't notice the difference.

Sometimes you need a wake up call though. I agree playing makes you better.
I support O'Byrne to the AHL, but I support it under the purpose of him coming back even better with a renewed intensity to the game and having the Bulldogs spend solid time on improving his game.
I hate Komi, but it's a respectfull hate. He's a great player, hope he's back soon.

Ok guys i take back my words, but i still beleive that B's fan are happy not that Komi is injured but that we will be missing one off our key players for a month.

He can't go to Hamilton... Will not clear the waiver!
Separated shoulder? Lucic is a strong dude. He must have had Komi's righ arm locked real good in that fight. I always thought it wasn't a good idea to have Komi fighting. I hope we've learnt a lesson.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I wish that for some reason, he never plays against the Bruins again. No doubt it gives us a much better chance to win.
I do respect the guy though, and I've been clammoring for him to fight Lucic for a year. I wanted to see Lucic beat him down, but I certainly didn't want to see Komi injured.
Besides, the rivalry is too much fun to watch, it's not the same when both teams aren't fully healthy.

I don't like the idea of Komi being out at all. But after the way him and Lucic have been battling you just knew it was only a matter of time. I'm just happy that if it were to happen, it happened now. Can you imagine how devastating it would have been if he were hurt just before the playoffs.
Somewhere in Russia Valentenko must be pissed off because he decided to move is ass back to the KHL while he would now have the opportunity to earn much more in the NHL.

Injuries are part of the game, hell Boston played without one of their top players (Bergeron) for all of last season.
As for being happy that an opposing team has a key player out, yeah but same goes for fans of any team. Habs fans would be happy if Boston was missing Savard, if Washington was missing Ovechkin, if the Rangers were missing Lundqvist, if Pittsburgh were missing Crosby etc. It would just make opposing teams weaker.
With that being said long term injuries are not good for any team so hopefully Komisarek has a speedy recovery, it's always better beating teams when their aren't injuries because than you can't make excuses for losing.

I think we should all be able to imagine... seeing as how Lucic hurt Komi just before the playoffs last year, causing an injury that would of kept him out this long had it not been playoff time. We saw the results, Komi was atrocious in the playoffs after the first couple of games.
I'm hoping we make a move. This could mean the return of the Dandouillon monster.
I was about to invoke that terrible name......
I wish people would stop calling for the head of Milan Lucic, he's just playing his game and he's playing it well. It's really poor form to blame him for Komisarek's injury, K did it to himself by picking a fight with the wrong guy.
And contrary to what someone said, not every fan here wanted to throw themselves under a bus after the loss to Boston. Losses happen, bad beats happen, I'll bet the older posters here didn't drink too many salty beers over it. See the Sens board, if you want a taste of that evil brew.
I see this as a chance for O'Byrne to step up -- he'll be getting yet more games that he probably hasn't earned. Remember, just because he's played poorly so far doesn't mean that one night the light won't suddenly "flick on" and lo and behold he makes that little jump to NHL-level. Maybe that never happens. But maybe it comes when we're least expecting it, too. Last night he made some good and brave pinches late in the game on one shift, with the fourth line out forechecking, that showed poise and confidence. (Pierre Houde was surprised!) We just can't throw him back to Hamilton and say "too bad you're not good enough yet" - if he doesn't improve this year, he very likely never will.
Meanwhile I'm very happy we have Josh Gorges, he's #4 unless Boullion steps up and actually starts hitting guys again.

Gorges has been ahead of Boullion since the end of the playoffs, and it's not like he's going to regress anytime soon. Gorges, right now, is playing like a bonafide second pairing d-man.

Yeah very true, I try to forget negative things that happen in the past.
I hope Gainey makes a trade from Kukkonen from Philly. He's a shot-blocking defensive defenseman who was waived last week because Philly is making room for Shanahan.
All I have to say is THANK GOD for Josh Gorges. It dazzles me to think of how far he's come in the habs organization. From as terrifying to watch on the ice as O'byrne to solid as a rock. Heres to hoping it clicks this way for Ryan.
