Certainly Parise for both. But it's pretty close, and Bergeron is a good player. Give me Parise 11 times out of 10 though (in a vacuum of course, and omitting the needs of a team such a C vs LW, etc).

Bergeron has put up decent numers(would be better had he played last year) but what really stands out to me is his defense. It has been phenomenal so far. Selke-Caliber. I think he will now turn into a John Madden with more scoring.

Parise is a great player too, though.

Oh I know but to say Bergeron now and future "not even close" makes you scratch your head considering how great a player Parise is. Adding smiles doesn't make your arguement any stronger, actually makes you look like the dunce.

Well, Langenbrunner and Zajac have scored 5 goals combined...and they're on Parise's line. Parise is doing it pretty much on his own...12 goals.
