VOTE! Rangers vs. Devils

Sorry if I missed a previous mention of this, but The Record has been holding a polling competition:
Quote:
Every week you’ll have a chance to vote for the greatest all-time Devils and Rangers at each position.
The winners will move on to Round 2 in Friday’s paper, where you’ll be able to choose who’s the best of the best – Devil or Ranger.
The ultimate winner will be revealed in Sunday’s paper.
Messier is up against Muller today - last week Elias beat out Graves 74% to 26%, which, really, is kind of shameful.

I love Graves, but Elias is a much better offensive player and as good defensively, juts not as physical.

It may be a shame that it was a 74-26 beatdown, but I would have voted Elias as the better player between the 2. I would have expected a more closer 60-40 split.

As for the Messier Muller match-up, that will tell you all you need to know about the ligitimacy of this contest.

Elias or Graves to start a team in there prime? I take Graves. He is a heart and soul 5 tool player I feel he brought so much more to the table.

Yeah, guys who can put up points and still display the muscle are not easy to find. I'm with Goon on this one. Wait, did I just say that?

I can see what you are saying and I can appreciate it, but I think that Elias was and it a bit better both offensively and defensively and if at the end of the day all Graves has on Elias is his physicality, I'll take Elias.
