In the right situation, Friesen can get his 25 goals and 60 points.

The problem has always been "creating" that right situation. He can be a very streaky player and he often looks like has more to give out there.

Still at this point getting even 25 goals and 50 points would be a nice addition from Lundmark.

I am not trying to comedown on you but it would be a huge suprise in a good way if Moore even made the team and even more if he was successfull...

Rita is a stiff but could have potential as a checker.

Wiseman is the player I liked most from HFD besides Murray and Balej. The suroundings will mean everything for him but he could chip in some points if he is given a chance. He has improved tremendously under McGill.

As for breakout season my pick is none other then migthy Tom Poti.

Marcus Nilsson and Samuel Pahlsson are two players I love who havenŽt gotten much appriciation and could breakthrough...

I repeat. Lundmark couldn't score 20 goals on the 80 Oilers.

The guy has two effing years in the NHL, and you think he is rabbit crap. GIVE THE KID A CHANCE!!!!! We are rebuilding. In rebuilds we have to be patient with our players. It takes 5 years in the NHL for a player to reach their max potential. We still have 3 more years.

Sorry, but I took them right off NHL.com. And, to be honest, I have a hard time believing Lundmark is actually 6'0". Throw in the fact that Doan is a legitimate PF in this league and Lundmark does not play that type of game.

Crooked...

Hlavac stunk from the get-go to the end. He had a couple decent games with Jagr. The guy was given quality ice time. He was pathetic last season.

Heck, Lundmark was given decent ice time the last two seasons and with decent linemates. His two goals in 26 games was pretty pathetic. What Lundmark needs to do is regain the confidence he had while playing with Messier his rookie season, which was the only time I can remember him playing with real confidence. He's gonna have to earn his ice time.

welll i wouldnt exactly consider doan a p.f , he can score decent i dont call 26 goals a power foward especially when this last year or 2 he been playing pretty good hockey, and he is not physical maybe throws body checks here and there , he is def not over physical... and u figue lundmark not at 6'0 then why dont u go look at his bios and it will te;ll u might be right about 195-200 lbs but he is 6 or 6'1 .. look for yourself

Goals don't mean your a power forward. A powerfoward is player that will hit and drive to the net.

Lundmark - Moore - Balej

I've also seen this line proposed...
Hlavac - Lundmark - Balej
Probably the worst defensive line in the world, but they'll look pretty, lol.

I have to believe that the Rangers won't have Hlavac next season. If they can't find another player to go 5g 21a -8 in their farm system, this rebuilding is not going well.

Not that I'm a HUGE fan of Hlavac...but he did show me something at the end of the season last year when he got top line minutes. There were nights when he was flying, making moves around people, doing everything but finishing....and the funny thing about him not finishing is that when he came up, he was touted as a tremendous finisher around the net...

So I don't know about him, maybe one more shot? We need a top 2 line LW...It's not like he's old.

Not sure about a "breakout" season, but I think Manny Malhotra will establish himself as a legitimate NHLer this year. He should get a fair amount of minutes with the BJs this year.

Also, look for Nick Shultz and Pierre-Marc Bouchard on the Wild to have "breakout" years.

Is this the year that Kloucek becomes an NHL force?

More to the point: Is this the year that he stops getting hurt?

If that happens he may learn to refine his game (less like Kaspar's undisciplined hits that take him out of the play and more like Beuk but a better skater).

Yes!!

I don't care, I still love this guy. When I had free NHL Center Ice for a week or so and he was on Nashville I got to see him play. He destroyed someone and got the check of the game. Now he's with Bob Hartley in Atlanta.
Teach the boy, Bob!
