Valiquette in against Sens; Gomez looking better

Quote:
Goaltender Steve Valiquette will make his fourth start---and fifth appearance of the season---tomorrow afternoon in Ottawa. Both he and coach Tom Renney said it was planned to give him a start this week, regardless of the routing of Henrik Lundqvist by Vancouver on Wednesday.
Quote:
After skating 45 minutes with the team, Gomez was cheerful and will make the trip north and skate tomorrow morning in Ottawa and then again on Sunday back here, barring any setbacks.
Quote:
After several weeks of the same d-pairings, Renney is considering a shakeup in Ottawa. One possible format: Mara-Rozsival, Staal-Redden, Kalinin-Girardi.
I like the sound of this. Hopefully it lasts more than a few shifts.

I'm surprised Renney didn't try Staal with Rozsival. Weren't they good together when Malik was out of the lineup last year?

Precisely.

I'd like to see:

Redden-Girardi

Rozsival-Staal

Kalinin-Mara

That's probably the best way to go, our 3 most solid D with our 3 not so most solid.

why punish Girardi and put him back with Kalalin.
it makes me laugh. it is like they don't want G to do well it is making the 5 and 6 mill players look bad .

I kind of hope to see a Staal-Redden pairing, for some reason I just have a gut feeling it will be good and also Staal was excited we signed Redden and wanted to play with him.

We shall see!

LET'S GO VALLEY!!! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!! LET'S GO BLUE!!!!

Again this is basically a must win game when comparing the records. Get over the loss to the Nucks and play some consistent hockey today.
Neil and Fisher are out so that's kinda good news. Ruutu is still in tho'. I hope someone gives it to him this time..

Play this game start to finish. If they just go out and play and they'll be the better team. Let's go Rangers.

I have to go to work at 3pm... that sucks. Luckily I'm recording the game at both my house and at my cousin's because I don't know where I'm going after I get out....

Play hard, play smart... Don't focus too much on Jerk-o, he's not worth it. Come out fast and put shots on goal. Attack, attack, attack...
