Bernier's first pro shutout leads Monarchs to victory

Manchester goaltender Jonathan Bernier and Lake Erie counterpart Tyler Weiman each posted a 27-save shutout through regulation and overtime, but Bernier (pictured) stopped all five shootout tries against him as the Monarchs emerged with a 1-0 road win over the Monsters on Saturday afternoon at Quicken Loans Arena. Manchester improved to 3-0-0-0 on its road trip.
