besides the fact that he's a major *****, it's that Cam Neely he's not. The minute the Habs but a body on him he was totally ineffective. Besides his goal, which was a situation of right time, right place if I've ever seen on, I don't even remember seeing him on the ice.

He's no heavyweight, but he still scored.

Don't know how some can say he was totally ineffective...totally would be without a goal..He wasn't as visible, that's for sure.....

He is classless !
so much about him being such a great guy outside the ice ...

pff I know its just a hockey game but he acted like a junior player tonight and not so much profesionalism from him !

he's now know as a semi god over here but his gimmick and taunting are useless and very classless to the game.
Especially for somebody that is afraid to drop the mits vs Laraque.

The self-proclaimed heavyweight champion of the world wasn't so tough tonight.

Looked like he had a little more yellow on his socks than usual...

I like Lucic, unfortunately he does seem to be a *****.
He refused to fight Laraque how many times now?
He plays tough and fights only in Boston.

He is for sure no Neely or Clark

Lucic will not, and should not fight Laraque. He has nothing to prove with the league's best enforcer and will not shorthand his team for no pausible reason. They're not even in the same category of fighters and players. It would be stupid for a player like him to square off with the beast in blue and red.

If some people still don't understand this, well then they're making big fools of themselves.

Plus he is their only big forward, without him boston got badly outhit. We finally got back to forechecking and being on the puck. Wuithout Thomas' horseshoe we win like 5-2.

1 goal, 9 hits and 1 victory all in a days work. Can't wait to see him when he has a good game/game where you remember seeing him.

I agree, but he was still very intimidated by Laraque. He looks like Brian Gionta next to BGL...like 2 inches and 40lbs difference.

5 mins each is not shorthanding your team. He had to be put on a line with a policeman in order to be effective tonight. If a guy is going to showboat then he has to answer the call. Plain and simple. We said it last week. His taunting only hurts the team. It will follow him around for a while.

Yeah, it hurt us real good tonight. So much that we got a goal out of it.

When did he proclaim himself the "heavyweight champion"?

And why the **** would he fight with Laraque? He is by far the better of the two and it would put us at a disadvantage. We need him as much as you need Komisarek-which if you had him tonite, I think you would've won(IMO). There is no need for him to fight with Laraque anyway. Besides Laraque says he only goes with heavyweights. After calling Lucic a middleweight, what kind of point was he trying to send by going after him. Laraque should've been more busy, you know, playing the game of hockey instead of gooning around making himself look like an ***.

On a positive note for you guys, the twins played well and so did Boullion(sp?)

Experience is the best teacher. At least goons like Oliwa and Nazarov knew how to do their job.

A liltte thing called honour, which Lucic has NONE of. You dont beat a guy like Komi then parade around the ice and then flatly REFUSE to fight Laraque. Chicken ****, pure and simple.

Why would our first line LWer waste time on a useless slug like Laraque? Give me one reason why that benefits the Bruins?

Are the Bruins players supposed to do what helps their team win or what Montreal fans want?

so funny...

it took komi a year to fight him for his cheap hits, but lucic is the coward...

guess he was to busy playing a hockey game and scoring goals to stop for that side show laraque....

What he said.

We like having laraque on the ice, why would we want to take laraque of the ice?

Wow a smart Habs fan. I don't know how people can call Lucic a coward. One thing he fought last night and cut his hand, second he is a first line guy and BGL is a 4th line guy. Lucic wont gain anything from fighting him. Lucic is not the Bruins goon thats Thornton's job. Lucic is out there to score goals and lay down hits which he does nicely. If something happens he will drop the gloves but he just doesn't drop them for no reason, if BGL really wanted to fight him all he needed to do was throw a cheap shot at someone while Lucic was on the ice.

Total coward, when he wasn't running away Savard had to back him up so he didn't break out in tears.

Cam Neely would be insulted to be compared to him.
