TRICOLORE JUSQU'AU BOUT!

We need to play a complete game, and finish with 2 points.

Great GDT.

The Islanders have picked up their game recently. So I hope the guys aren't taking them lightly hoping for a late game comeback. If we give the effort we gave against the Bruins, I'm confident we can pick up the 2 points.

Islander fan here..

I really can't see how my team wins. This is such a mismatch it makes me sick. Skill wise, how-fast-we-skate wise, it's just a terrible matchup. There is really no scenario in which I can see how my team takes it to your team. Even with a 4 - 1 lead, the Isles crumbled when the Canadiens put on pressure. With that crowd and the pressure of being on the Montreal ice, well yea.. if you guys lose than it's because you really put in a terrible effort.

Even with your team skating at half speed I think you win. Just being honest. Nothing to be worried about

if your team plays responsibly and systematically, they got a shot. Trust me, the habs will give you chances because of the way they play. The next step is to get to price... which you guys did pretty well last time.

Dont overrate the habs. They are not playing as well as they look on paper. While montreal's previous game over the weekend was encouraging, they are still sputtering offensively over the last couple weeks.

I think you're just being modest PW. You're team is coming off a nice victory over the Sabres. You're also 6-3-1 in your last 10, so I highly doubt we should be taking the Islanders lightly.

Hey my record would be spotless too if I made sens and islanders games only, where was Quartz for the bruins game?

It's easier when you pick your games lucic-style.

Well put. I can't help but feel the a massive logjam of goals building up and is about to be unleashed, its just a matter of when, where and against who.

Montreal need to do what they did to Sens in the first game they played against them, the shutout win. Just go on the offensive straight away and take as many shots possible. Our power play has to click tonight, if we lose, it will be shameful night in Montreal.

Agreed, and to be honest I think we can win this one without Mitch.
