the guy is in a professional league...if he cant take it he shouldnt be in the NHL plain and simple

well deserved chants.

so all blown PP chances didnt have a direct result with the loss either, right?

You're kidding right? 30 years? By that comment I'd say 30 weeks at most.

Instead of blaming O'Byrne, blame the ****ing PP and all those that are playing it. That is why we are loosing games since 3 weeks.

We've all made mistakes, but we all don't get paid a truckload of money to pay a game we love and have played and practised our entire lives in front of over 20,000 people who have paid a lot of money to watch us and then have a GIGANTIC brainfart cost the team a win.

Sure I feel bad for him at some level, but I also think the boos are deserved and he needs to get sent down and show his mettle and hopefully one day come back stronger.

Doug Weight celebrating after the O'Byrne goal should have gotten a shot in the head from someone.

yeah mistake happens. If Koivu scored that goal on us it's would be easy to forgive. But Orbyrne has been horrible the entire season so far. It's professional hockey not junior hockey.

Will you give the job to initiate and rookie to work on a nuclear bomb? That simple.

He has no place in the nhl right now.

I'm sure all you "knowledgeable" Hab fans will throw O'byne under the bus now. i mean he doesn't deserve a career, he cost the Habs a point.

Like this changes a damn thing. The only real difference is O'byrne has 20 000 people watching him at all times.

On the upside Higgins was a beast, fighting for the puck, creating turnovers, standing guys up at the blue line and racing out of the zone to create chances.

All around great game from Higgins.

Alright guys...Let's everyone just settle down.

Was it a bonehead play? yes
Did he do it on purpose? no

How can you be pissed at someone who is trying their hardest? Is he supposed to tell the coach not to put him out there? "Hey coach, I know you wanna put me out there, but I don't think I can cut it. So I am just going to stay here on the bench."

I actually thought he played a decent game tonight up until "the goal".

He is young, he is a good skater and he has a lot of learning to do. Do you guys remember some of the posts on here when Komisarek was in his first year? People were calling him a bust, etc, etc. OB is a late third round pick and everyone here is holding him up to some high standard just because he had a good end of the year last year.

Maybe he does need some time down on the farm, but I'll tell you what, he wouldn't make it to the farm because some other team would snatch him up because he has huge potential, great size and is fast for a big man. Believe it or not, those are hard to come by.

Exactly. All the near misses tonight.... the score should have been 4-2 or 5-2 when the O'Bryne incident happened.
