I wonder how the Zeiler incident will affect the game plan. Calgary's one of the toughest teams in the league. If Murray tells us to ease up physically, we're going to get killed. If he tells us to go twice as hard, we might kill them.
I'll take 3-1 Calgary. Kipprusoff is kind of good.
The Kings scoring the first goal has proved to be so crucial this season. If we net the first of the game, I see us taking this. It seems this team, when they have the lead, is able to settle into their rhythm much easier and totally tighten up on D.
When they're trailing and scrambling for goals, the game is usually lost already.
Does someone have a statistic on our record when scoring the first goal of the game?
Pretty indicative of a young, talented team. We're still prone to the jitters.
All in all, win or lose, this team is exactly where they should be, if not a little ahead of schedule.
Derek Armstrong on being put back into the lineup:
You've got to play the young guys here. When I get a chance, I've got to go in and play as hard as I can. I appreciate every moment I get to go in and play a game in the NHL. I've accepted this role and hopefully we can continue to win. That's the most important thing."
