I would love to have Regher and Lombardi here in Florida. However I like Calgary too much to have you stuck with Jay Bo. I think you'll be dissapointed with him.
I don't see Regher going anywhere.

Now how about trading Aucoin, Lombardi and a draft pick for Jay B?
I think that jack a-- of a GM Jacques Martin would make that deal.

Well I want to see Regehr retire as a Flame. He is a total beast defensively and if the league had a defensive defenceman award he should win it easily... If we can get Jay Bo and it works out, it would be interesting. On another thread Derek Meech has been toted to be a good partner for Dion. I think the team needs to trade for the ideal partner for Phaneuf but NOT trade away Regehr.

Bertuzzi, Aucoin and 1st round pick to St. Louis for Johnson. Come on! It worked in NHL 09, im serious. Try it, and pair him with Phaneuf and they are clutch. I've got them playing 40 minutes a night.

Trade doesn't make much sense for us since we won't have the cap room to keep J-Bo.

Booth wouldn't be a bad pickup but he is the leading goal scorer for the cats...meaning hes not going anywhere.

If it's Regehr + Lombo for Booth + Bouw, we do too have the room. Bouw would sign a deal like Dion's. We lose Robyn's 4 as well as Aucoin's 4 next year, leaving us like...+1.5

We just extended Regehr too, it wouldn't sit so well with Flames fans I think.

Regehr = 4m
Lombo = 1.8m
Auccoin = 4m

Booth = 675k but is RFA, if he gets 20-30 goals you're looking at him demanding at least 2.5 to 3 million

J-Bo = 4.875m, but he'll get 7m at discount and up to $8 on the open market I bet and these are conservative guesses.

Factor in if you want to resign Cammalleri, Bertuzzi and Dustin Boyd.

Just glancing at the numbers there isn't room for us to pay J-Bo 7m and upwards which he can get easily.
