It's not about being the best but about the contribution they made ; Turgeon is #98 , but was by far better than more than half of the players listed .

One of the best lists I saw. Nice to see guys like Albert Leduc and Pit Lepine get the recognition they deserve.

The biggest question mark

- Rod Langway. What has he done to warrant a higher ranking than Glen Harmon, Jimmy Roberts ... and even Herb Gardiner?

I thought Malone might've been higher; I've obviously never seen him play (lol) but the way I've heard him talked about, he sounds like the Gretzky of the 1910's-20's.

List actually isn't that bad, though.
