I've lost my scoring touch!

I just can't seem to put the puck in the net anymore. Last year, I had 34 goals and 46 assists in around 50 games. This year, throughout my first 8, just 3 assists. I get oppurtunities, but not as much, and I can't convert on any. I've got great hands(I dangle a lot), but just can't score. Any tips?

just stop thinking about it, shoot the puck when you have to, pass the puck when you have the chance and points will go on the board.

Simplify, man!

Don't be afraid to pass the puck, and always go to the net hard. Just keep plugging and the goals will come. If you try to do too much, you'll just hurt yourself and your team.

To put it simply...don't pass up any opportunity to shoot the puck. If you dangle it into the slot, don't hesitate to pull the trigger once you get there.

I know the feeling. In my first full season over the summer, I went 14-8-12-20, but so far in this winter league I've gone 9-3-1-4. Though what's making matters worse for me is that the refs haven't credited me with a single second assist and have only given me credit for 1 of my 4 first assists.

Haha, I laughed out loud for some reason..

But in all seriousness, just don't think about it too much, fire the puck on the net, try and make the right plays.. crash the net a lot, pick up rebounds and such. That one garbage goal may be just the goal to get your confidence back.

When you shoot, don't try aiming top corner if you can do it sure but it will miss a lot of the times.

i had a golden opportunity last game, me like 10 ft out only one defenseman infront(screening the goalie) and I just miss the net by like 2 ft.

Don't go for the deke that will lead to the high-light reel goal. For danglers a good rule is when you think "One more move" don't make that move and just shoot the puck
