I'll be there Wednesday...Section 123 Row 10. My only Habs road game of the year.

Hope they play well and win

i pray carbo doesn't employ his play not to lose strategy tomorrow. play the wings with a fore-check - an aggressive fore-check like the two pre-season OT games we won vs them.

we're not going to win by sitting back

I believe that the habs will give red wings some trouble. They are gaining their confidence (except obyrne) and they can surely come with an intention to beat the red wings.

HIO's interviews tonight are pretty great. The 10 minute interview with Gorges about his first goals at different levels is awesome. <3 Gorges. Talks about his new role in Komi's absence, defends O'Byrne, talks about the stick burning ritual (Kosto and Price do as well) etc.

I'm actually curious to see how O'Byrne reacts tonight. I'm glad for his sake that our next 2 games are on the road. So that he has some time to redeem himself before facing the Montreal crowd on Saturday.

NOOB. I haven't either. Anyways, let's hope we play a full 60 min game, if we do, we have a good chance of a win. Should be a good one.

I will be at the game tonight...I am hoping for a great effort...Detroit in my own opinion is the team to beat in the NHL...We cannot be taken any bad penalties as they have the #1 power play...they are a very disciplined team...that is well coached! ...I am looking for plekanek and koivu to stand up today! GO HABS GO!!!

I really don't see us winning tonight. We keep picking up penalties like a dog picks up flees (sorry Fido ) and playing against the number 1 PP. Yeah it'll be ugly. Still I'm going to watch and hope against hope that the guys play a disciplined game and get that much needed 2 points and confidence.

I will be naive and think that with everything that was said about the fans lately, that O'Byrne will be cheered or ignored. Or if he's being booed by a small portion, the freakin silent majority will cheer him more. That's what I'm expecting.

Of course.....2 wins versus 2 losses might be also the difference between a nice and a bad crowd's reaction...

We're done for.

I'll still watch and cheer, but if we can't beat other teams, how can we beat the wings...

I say this in the hopes the habs will win

Sadly there will be a small portion that will continue to boo O'Byrne, not too much can be done about that. But like Whitesnake mentioned, 2 victories in our next 2 away games will help take the pressure off of him.

I'm actually feeling positive about this game. I'd feel a little better if our PP was clicking and Komisarek was back playing. But I think after our last game the players are going to be up for this one.

Habs win 3-2 in regulation time.

GO HABS GO!

Being the optimist person that I am, I predict a 4-1 loss. Our only goal being scored by O'Byrne!

.

They should do a stick burning ritual for O'byrnes stick, to scare away the bad omen.
