Well, you can just set the alarm and sleep in that day.

I still think this will be one of the worst black Fridays in years. With the bad economy, people don't want to shop.

thank you for that, it will make me smile while i am fighting with all this CSS code.

if you don't want to eat turkey, have a cranberry muffin and a pumpkin latte at Starbucks. that will be close enough.

I am beginning the 430 mile drive north this afternoon. I am NOT looking forward to the drive, but very much looking forward to being home for a bit.

I am staying in Gilroy for a bit, going to the game Wednesday! Then going to my aunt/uncles up in Sonoma for turkey day, where there will be many family members. No idea the number.

The economy? YES, I would like to be flying, not stuck in a car with two of my friends for a looooong time.

Hard to figure if its representative of the trends this year. Gas prices have crashed back to 2003 levels and car travel would seem to be a good option, but analysts expect travel way down and from this sampling it seems like a hella' lot of people are not flying. Quick count I think there were 4 flyers this year.

Roads, skies to be less crowded over holiday

AP - Chicago - Wed Nov 26th
CHICAGO - Despite plummeting gas prices and unusual last-minute holiday deals on airplane tickets, more people are expected to stick close to home this Thanksgiving. In fact, the Automobile Association of America says the 41 million Americans expected to take trips at least 50 miles for Thanksgiving is about 600,000 less than traveled last Thanksgiving.
The reason, as a surly economist might say? It's the economy, stupid.
