Awards:
O'Byrne's made the highlight reels twice in one week...and we still have two more games to play!

Great goal, no doubt.

Gorges on the right side? Franzen doesn't get by.

My 2 cents.

Probably not, and this belongs on the Detroit board or somewhere else there has been enough of this bashing crap on here lately.

No doubt a nice goal but considering which defensemen it was that he undressed before his backhand I think it decreases the impressiveness.

Amazing goal for sure... regardless who's in front of him... If you talk about highlight reel alone, it's the goal of the month, no doubt !!

Cmon give us something. He made TWO moves on O'Bryne and another on I think Hamrlik. Great goal, Price played great. How bout Hossa for Price... think on it!

wow...i think i'm officially going to be perceived as a hater for the first time (while just smelling the coffee), but I just can't avoid saying it...

O'byrne...

reminds me of how Souray got undressed by Spezza. Seriously, like i said before, I'm praying for him to get better (and he made more mistakes than just that one tonight), but seriously, his defenders, I seriously don't understand how you think he is doing his job and is not a liability this season. Aside from that goal, he played ok, not well. ok. Breezer is better than him and when Komo comes back it will be hard to see Breezer get pushed out. Franzen didn't have to do much IMO. Nice finish, but he got help. Gorges <3...that guy is reallly proving himself. Gets better every game. Agree with GoHabsGo247.

Goal of the year? Doubtful. It's a good goal I agree, but if O'Curds had've turned to skate backwards when he should've and taken the body, it would've been a regular play.

And oh yeah, if he hadn't passed it to him right on the tape in the first place.

I thought Gorges got away with some stuff, but he's the type of guy you want on your 6, for sure. I'd take him any day on the Wings.

As for deking Hamrlik. Obryrne was swimming out there, Hamrlik didnt know what the hell was going on, threw him way off. What about that play behind the net. Thankfully for him the puck got back to him after Price helped him out, but...please he didn't have a good game. Hamrlik took his man.

Awesome goal. You don't normally see those kind of hands on a power forward. Too bad it was O'byrne that got victimized. There's a hundred in the league that would have been beaten by that.

OT - anyone else notice what a beast markov was this game? His best board play down low all year, IMO (plus the sick pass to Pleks).

It could have been played better by O'Byrne. But Franzen did make some sweet moves. How's that?

Great goals are often linked to a great mistake. I know it was O'Byrne but it was a fantastic play.

Agreed, if Kosty or Kovy had pulled that, i'd say it was beautiful. So yeah, it was a sweet goal. I saw it coming 10 seconds before it was in the back of the net though.

I love how freaking slow that guy is and yet, he dekes everyone and scores.

Thank you, you Habs fans aren't all that bad. Regardless it was a nice goal, not a great game from my end but a game none the less. A date in June would be nice, good hits from both teams.

Franzen isn't slow at all, he's a powerhouse and deceptively fast.

When he dekes though, it really looks like he isn't moving at all. Which is why he seems so slow to me.
