When it first drops, it drops vertically, and to me looks like it is 100% across the line, but in the video you can barely see it in the bottom corner (at least on the non HD broadcast).

Zetterberg is a pre-lock out contract.

Volchenkov isn't much better then Gorges, IMO.

Now, if Lats could get a jump in his step and play like Kostopoulos did, he would make a great addition to Koivu's line.

They should make him watch Kostos game on tape tonight over and over.

1. Put AK46 with Lang and SK74. He produces more there and will help his brother.
2. Put Kosto with Plek and Kovy. He should help there as much as AK46.

Thanks.

If I would have read this at the beginning of the season. I would have laughed big time. But Gorges just seems to get better and better, he just keeps impressing me game after game.

They shouldn't rush lats back at all. The team's played better with kosto in the top 9.

I'm not saying Kosto is a better player but he has sure done a good impression of it over the past few games.

+1
I thought it was Kovy's bets game since his game against the Islanders at New York.

AK46 was still trying to score even after everybody was celebrating.

Well in the other PGT vs the isl I mention how an incident like o byrnes the other day could have a positif effect on the team in the long run. When the incident happen I told my self that it would the turning point of the season. Its safe to say that the body language was very positifs for the habs and that is all ways a good indication to see were the team is going. That incident seem to have regroup the guys. It also had its positifs for o byrnes as the worse of the struggles are over. There no were to go but up. now that he experience a major mistake he can learn from it and concentrate on building his confidence which is a step by step process for young players playing D.

Special player of the Game: Mathieu Dandenault.

It was one of the great games i've seen him played with the Habs since he got transformed into a forward a few years ago.

One other thing.... Markov was a beast tonite. Thank god Holmstrom was out. I think Bouillon would have taken 4 more penalties trying to clear the net. Kopecky was the only wing willing to stand in front of the net all night as they really played a perimeter game only charging the net to go for rebounds (which price kept to an absolute minimum).

Great game for MTL hopefully they can turn the corner now!

Wonderful win against the champions. The team really deserved the 2 points tonight.

Where is that poster who said Saturday this was gonna be a bottom 5 team in the league come season end?

Now can they continue this into Washington against a great home team? To me, that's 3 straight solid efforts for this team. Making it into 4-5-6 is the key now.

Only 4 points back of the Bruins for the division lead and we have a game in hand. If we continue to play like this, we'll be in control of this division before you know it.

BTW, I believe we have already smashed our 2007-08 win total against the Western Conference as this was our 4th one (we had 3 last year).

His first period was awful, but he did play quite well after that.

Of course! I would have done the same.

However the way I look at the Gorges contract is that we could have 2 of him for the 1 Volchenkov.. Which makes it an easy decision.

Would I take Volchenkov to play the right side with Hamrlik? Any day of the week.

Another impressive part of the win is that we were without Komi and Tanguay and still managed to win.
