Good game fellas.

Detroit clearly didn't have their legs tonight and to say the least they didn't bring their 'A' game, but you can't take anything away from the Habs who played a good game and definitely earned that victory. You guys did a fantastic job blocking shots all night and really never giving Detroit a chance to create a ton of quality chances once they got in the offensive zone.

A couple of things of note:

Henrik Zetterberg isn't really that bad. That was the worse he's looked in a long time. No jump in his skates, puck bouncing off his stick all night and just simply had a terrible game by his standards.

Outside of the Franzen goal, which was a beaut, O'Byrne played a solid game.

I've a question for you guys! For those who posts in this thread during the game, are you listening to the radio or the tv ?

I am going through this thread, and i can't understand why someone who is supposed to be a habs fan is sitting on his computer chair, posting 30 messages during the play, 75% of bashing. Why don't you just sit on your couch, relaxing with a beer and enjoy the game for 2 hours and a half and let your computer breath a second.

A lot of people, especially in the new generation, can type without looking at the keyboard. So we can be focusing on the play, but still typing on here, it's really not that hard.

I let my girlfriend watch the game with me so she can hold my drink for me. It's the least I can do.

there's no real point to a PGT if we don't close the GDT imo.

Still doesn't explain why they seem to post more than pay attention to the game, hence why one giveaway by Kovalev turns into 12.

Nice to see someone admit they don't know instead of just say, "Whatever New Jersey does".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutral_zone_trap

It's all about clogging up the neutral zone and not allowing plays to break out into the opposing zone. If you stop plays from forming before they get into your own zone, you can have better zone protection, and therefore, plays are ruined before they get going.
