3 ATL and EDM

To ATL: Gagner
To EDM: Christiansen, Valabik

To ATL: Nilsson
To EDM: Christiansen

To ATL:Cogliano
To EDM: Christiansen

Are either of the above fair value? No Kovalchuk counters please.

well the first one is rediculous....EC is garbage and Valabik has potential to be DECENT----this coming from an ATL fan, all while GAGNER is an incredable player just going through a rough stretch.

3 trade is ******** too... Fail

None of the above are fair value. TambelLoweni wouldn't even pick up the phone.

The Nilson trade is the closest, and even for that you'd probably have to offer at least what you are offering for Gagner.

Nilson for Christiansen and Valabik.

I'm not sure if that's even something the Oilers would take, as I'm pretty sure they have a lot of d-men who would be playing in front of Valabik.

1 and 3 rip off Edmonton. #2 probably is the closest but also favors Atlanta a bit.

I doubt Edmonton wants anything to do with The Crusher.

As an Edm fan I wouldn't touch any of those offers. Gagner isn't going anywhere unless it's a package based around...that's right...Kovy. Nilsson has proven more last year than EC has and I'd rather hold on while Nilsson rides out his rough patch. Cogs for EC? Not much better than Gagner for EC.

Maybe Gagner, Cogliano and Nilsson for Christensen and Valabik. . . . and a 7th round pick. Come on people. . . .

I'm pretty sure this is a comment in regards to some Oiler proposals for Kovalchuk.

The OP, to my knowledge, is a Sens fan.

Yeah, a bit of a failure if this was the point. Probably should have mentioned something about it.
