Ever read the commments on RDS.ca ?

I don't know if those people are racist (maybe xenophobic), stupid, or just plain young, but they're all going off because Kostopoulos is playing on the "top line" with Koivu and Higgins, while Latendresse is playing with Lang and Kostitsyn Jr.

Did any of these people see the Detroit game? Sure, TKO isn't a permanent solution, but he played great with Saku and Higgy, so why mess with a good thing? I swear, the people there just don't get it - one even suggested that they were showcasing Kostopoulos for a trade!

Thoughts on the gang that post there? Personally I think they're the lowest common denominator -the ones who will be booing O'Byrne as soon as he touches the puck tomorrow.

Take all the bandwagon jumpers, drama queens, and just plain ******** posters with no hockey knowledge from this website, convert them to french and ask them to write comments after a game and you will have material almost equivalent in stupidity to that of the RDS.ca comments section. Almost.

You're being very generous to HF posters.

Really! Who in their right mind would post on a hockey message board anyway? Giving far-fetched opinions on a subject they know little about, with no way of actually effecting any change, getting all upset for nothing. Really!

the rds talkback is well known for the poor quality of its posters. It's been a problem for years.

Bof, for every 3 horrible posts in here, I'm treated to at least one with some sense and logic. At the RDS.ca site, I'd have trouble finding one. Worst part is that they have a 1000 word requirement.

I do, but not for hockey, well sometimes, but it's been a while.

For other sports you can usually find some interesting comments.

woops misread, it's 1000 characters min. I could have sworn it was 1000 words. Maybe they changed it. Anyways, it's to painful to read regardless of how long or short they are.

There's a lot of stupid, stupid posts on the talkbacks over there. I'm not sure the ratio of good vs. bad post is lower than here or any other Habs boards out there. I hate reading 'Québécois first' posts and I also despise reading 'RACISM' posts like we see here on a daily basis. They're both ****ing idiots.

RDS will carry that reputation and attract these kind of posters as long as they insist on hiring washed up Q league coaches.

I can't really vouch for RDS because I don't read it but on TSN you have fans from other teams mainly sens and leafs who hate Montreal already.

On RDS I can assume that its mainly habs fans so you probably get the same dumb comments they are just directed differently.

What's wrong with the rds comments?Because they don't suit your personnal taste and super hockey knowledge they are bad?

Yes and i also totally disagree with with Tom playing with Koivu. While Latendresse play with Lang.If i remember Koivu-Tanguay-Lat did pretty well at the beginning of the season. If i remember Guillaume played a lot more with Koivu. If i remember , Tom he's a 3 line or 4line player.Seriously it would be like Neil playing with Heatley and Alfredsson.

People are different and opignons are going to be different. The problem is probably your maturity level and can't , yet understand that at your *age* .

I dont mind RDS.ca forum. I wish they had a better forum concept.
Most people are pretty nice there.I find some people in here very arrogant and they think they know absolutely everything about hockey even if they might have been watching/following hockey for a couple of years.

minimum. i tried posting a message once and had to keep adding to it. Honestly with every message 1000 characters minimum i never bother reading them. I'm not sure who though the quality of the posts would be better with a minimum of 1000 characters.

Imagine a world on hfboards where comments have to have 1000 characters minimum instead of whatever it is right now (3 or 4 i think)?

Are you serious ?

Like in, -really- serious ??

RDS talkbacks are notorious for being full of plain stupid, chauvinist or racist comments. Right now Kosto is doing what Gui should be, they don't have the same talent level but at least Kosto show heart and guts, what Gui hasn't...

Damn I'm even replying to you...

And you're the one talking about maturity...

I think these guys are going there to say things they couldn't say at other places. Most talkbacks on the net are the same everywhere. The worst are the celebrities talkbacks like The Defamer. Oh baby these are sick..! It's like a contest over there who's gonna say the harshest, most demeaning things.

rds.ca comments: bunch of idiots
