My lines weren't THAT far off...

I got them here, where I get all of my lines for opposing teams

Not exactly sure what the lines will be, but EC is sitting and Crabb is getting his first ever NHL start.

Go Luck.

Fun fun game, lot of strange bounces, but it was a game I wouldn't mind losing (but I'm glad we didn't)

I went to the game with a group from the NP boards...

It was my first time in Philips Arena. I liked the THOUGHT of how the arena was setup, but it was put together very poorly. The space in the arena was not used very well, and it seemed very bland other than on one side of the arena. While it was an interesting game, the crowd seemed to be dead. When they would clear the puck after we cycled the puck in their end for 2 solid minutes, there was not a peep. Then when they pressured us for a solid 30 seconds (Little's line) -- the crowd did not seem to react. It was a strange game....

Little will be one he**uva player in a few years to come I think. He has some great speed and reminds me of Versteeg of the Hawks.

You can thank Kovy for our first 3 goals (on the first goal he jumped off the ice on the PP on the way back to the bench). He shyed away from a hit and we were able to take the puck up ice on the turnover.

Terrible luck and terrible bounce on ATL's first goal. Poor Rinne had no idea what happened. Other than that, Rinne was solid. He was beat on a few shots by Kovy as he was breaking into the zone on him, but thankfully those shots went wide as Kovy had a portion of the net to shoot at.

Tootoo made a great play on our 3rd goal. Loved seeing him come out of the corner to the front of the net. I wish we would see more of this from him so that we can put him on that 2nd line instead of Ward. Then we can make our 3rd line be completely anemic on offense with Bonk-Smitty-Ward

Great pass by Weber on the OT goal with a great read by Suter. Suter noticed that the entire Thrashers team went off for a change and just headed up ice.
