It's a very dark little world in these PGT threads after a loss

Even worse, Buffalo has recovered from a slide and won their last two. We lose to them and it's time for some serious fixes. Oh well, who am I kidding? We've been calling for that for a couple weeks and nothing has been done yet.

...Ovie has 8 hits himself. Pathetic effort from the Habs.

WOOOO WOOOOOOOOOWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO . Stop with the emophilia.Theo was plain horrible the last 6 month he was with the habs.He was also quite average with the avalanche . Hell Budaj was chosen over THEO.

You can't win game when you can't score. But you realize that 90% of our shot was from the 4 LINE?You can't win when your top line don't do jack.Kovalev should take Ovy for exemple. The guy he's more talented than him PLUS HE WORK,HE HIT and he's INTENSE in every SHIFT.

We got beat by Ovy and a bunch of pee-wee from the AHL.FOUR of their regular defenseman was not playing.Semin was no playing and THEo the hole had a frigging black vs US.You know something's wrong when Begin had more chance than Kovalev.

Also why Kostopoulos play with Koivu????????????? Carbo he's frigging DRUNK.

Thank goodness someone had the courage to post this masterpiece. After numerous prior threads on this issue I think we can all agree that all euros are soft and all canadians are tough as nails. In fact I hope the KHL becomes a great success and the league can rid itself of euro soft garbage like Ovechkin and his ilk.

I disagree with the first statement.. however,

The second part is an eye opener. That is just brutal and unacceptable. 1 Hit combined! Its no wonder we struggle to win games.

god that ****ing sucked ass
no pride or heart left in this team
carbo cant coach, all he knows is to shuffle the lines with 4th line players and do the trap
why do the fowards never come to help the D ?
why the coach never talks to his players, pat them on the back, give them advice ?
why he panics every game and does his shuffle of lines ?
why he never takes timeout ?
why is the space between the D and the fowards so large that we cant get a pass out and have to make long pass leading to turnovers ?
why the habs always comes out flat ?

we need new blood or trades cause that team is heading to a disaster of epic proportion
wont be long till we reach the bottom five

Now you said it.... although the Wings got Europeans and it works for them

Having Tanguay, Komisarek, and a D'Agostini in the line-up will help

#1 thing is for the fans to calm down

lower the expectations at this point... sadly

Guess I picked a good game to miss.

Fourth line on the PP. Wow, didn't think he was serious.

yep

I now just want them to make the playoffs.
I think they will fight for the 8th spot.

Carbs is about to lose his team.
The ultimate sign will be when Kovy will miss a game or 2 with a fake and mysterious injury. I bet it will happen next week.

Higgins, the Kostitsyns, OByrne, Lang. Get rid of these losers! Honestly, if we want to win any game we need players with character, these players have none, or very little.

Trade them and get a 4th D and a couple forwards who will play hard every night!

So the rest of the players are winners?

He's obviously not the solution either, since night after night his name doesn't show up in the scoring summary.

These 2 are the same problem. When the forwards learn for once and for all that it's a team game we'll have more nights like Wednesday and less like tonight.

And Kovalev has to be much better. Oh, the bitter taste of lowered expectations.

*sigh*

there is no chemistry on this team.

lockeroom needs to be gutted. Something just isnt right.

DOnt know if its managment, players, leaders...

I dont mind them losing when they try, but the lack of emotion and effort, resiliency in this team is frightening.

This team has too much talent to lose like this.

This team is soft.

The defence is horrible. Bouillon at 1,7 Million ?! LOL at Gainey.

The coach is just pathetic.

Higgins is a grinder.

Enough Said !!

for every 1 type of ovechkin out there, there are 20+ soft europeans out there. Europeans play a different style of game than NA, particularly the Russians/Czechs. Although, the swedes and fins play a more NA game.

maybe I should have made my post more clear...most of our euros on this team are soft (expect koivu and hamrlik). The rest are floaters/soft.

and i know many will disagree, but I prefer the NA style of game. And i agree with Don Cherry, that as a Canadian, growing up, the dream is to win a stanley cup. thats the desire this team needs. While europeans have a different dream....to come over to the nhl and make millions because they live in a poor country growing up.

I wonder how much the BC boutique made in the offseason compared to previous years. I'm going to guess a hell of a lot more. This city was going crazy for all these guys that now suddenly are the worst, most pathetic "euros". It's "what have you done for me lately"/bandwagon syndrome. I for one am happy with my purchases and I think our players and a great addition in Tanguay are something to be proud and excited about. Wait for the bubble to burst, the T-shirt sales will soar back up. I would snicker if i ever saw someone with a lang shirt. Mixed feelings about him this year. He has such great hands and at times does amazing things yet ruins it all for the most part, similar to bizzaro Kovalev. Does he know that hooking is a penalty?

The two best games I have seen Montreal play this year was Saturday against Boston when they outhit the Bruins, and Wednesday when they beat Detroit by playing a defensive trap system.

Coincidence that they play their best hockey when they hit and play a system?

is it me or did i see a hell of a lot of the 4th line last night? would make sense because they were the only ones working. its pretty crappy when your talented guys aren't grinders and your grinders aren't talented.
