He wasn't that huge a part. He played with Corvo on the third pairing, and saw most of his time with the big line on the ice (hence his +43 that year).

Still, it just goes to show that he can be effected when placed on an already good team, such as Montreal.

IMO, it would either be a 2nd and a lesser prospect (ex. Shawn Belle) or O'Byrne straight up for Preissing (or with a later pick, like 4th or 5th round)

Terry Murray wants to spread out the scoring.


As far as Preissing goes, I ouldn't want to trade him, but O'Byrne and Kostopolous would be good.

I guess that makes sense on paper but it's obvious he scores much more when with Kopi and Brown.

And I don't know much about O'Byrne but once JMFJ is healthy I'd love to have TK come back here.
