I know it's early, but it's fun to talk about stuff like this.

Right across from the current one. Anywhere other than the downtown area would be unacceptable if you ask me.

Balzac. Could you imagine the laughter around the NHL if at every game they start with 'coming to you live from balzac.' We'd be the laughing stock of the NHL. I would laugh as well.

Agreed. They already have the perfect location. Why mess with that?

It would take a revamp of the infrastructure around the stampede grounds, but I think it should also be there. Were they not thinking about putting it where the big 4 building is?

Either that or Balzac, not just because I live in Airdrie, but also because it would be awesome.

that will never top gaylord entertainment center

imo they couldnt have picked a better spot than than where the saddledome already is...minus all the "seedy" and "less fortunate" people who hang around the area

The arena isn't going to Balzac, that would make no sense at all, and who would want to drive to fricken Ballsack?

I always thought it was fitting when the Flyers played in the First Union Center.

Absolutely correct... after being to some arenas/sporting venues in other cities, you get to appreciate how great the location is: that it's near DT, and there are 2 stops that you can use to get to the arena are just gravy.
