Kovalev for Afinogenov?

Good Proposal in my opinion. Afinogenov was benched two games, hes got speed, great vision, plus hes making 3.5 M, and UFA

Kovalev is a cancer on this team. Time to ship him now before boat sinks.

And sabres can add in teppo numminen, PP specialist, making 1 M to even trade for cap.

Kovalev for Afinogenov and Numminen

Same cancer that carried this team on his back last year? Same Cancer that helped build the Hype for this season by making everyone produce like crazy last season?

Get your facts straight.

He isn't a cancer, if you notice hes gang banged by 3 players when he touches the puck. They just have to start showing up to games.

From a montreal persepective I do this and run like hell only if Kovalev stays this bad.

Then you end up with

Tanguay-Koivu-Lats
Higgins-Plekanec-A.Kost
Afinogenov-Lang-S.Kost
Begin/Laraque-Lapierre-Kosto
Dandenault

Markov-Komisarek
Hammer-Numminen
Georges-Bouillon
Brisebois
Send OB to minors for fine tuning

People really have to **** about him being a cancer; he is no such thing, he's just an inconsistent player. Sean Avery is a cancer right now in Dallas, they all hate him, Kovy is a leader on this team, he's just not playing like his ridiculous 07-08 self.

And no thanks, Afinogenov is playing like a load of turd right now, 1 goal in 19 games, are you serious? Plus he's not better than Kovy, who DOES ONLY have 16 points in 22 games.

Wow, if you think Kovalev is bad, Afinogenov is 10 times worse!

He is not a cancer.

Seems that he creates more for the opposing team.

Because the only way to access a player is by how many goals they score.

You know, I would take a far less skilled player but with more determination for Kovy. Like Alex Burrows(I can dream can't I?)

ok... Kovalev for Bergfors

The devils need some extra veteran at forward and we don't need the piece of jello that have become Kovalev

I grow tired of him destroying his linemates in a 2006-2007 fashion

I don't think he's a cancer, at least I hope not. But hey I haven't been in the lockeroom in ever.

Afinogenov is a cancer....an underachieving cancer.

Kovy hasn't been that bad. It's early.

Afinogenov? No. Absolutely not.

But I remember a something from a Canucks fan along the lines of Kovalev for Ohlund. That would definitely be intriguing. A puck moving Dman, who I think is a UFA at the end of the year. Only problem is I think Kovalev has a NTC that goes until Jan 31 2009.

-Edit. Meh they both have NTC.

A big, somewhat physical inconsistent winger with a great set of hands for a small, very soft inconsistent winger with a great set of hands.

Let's see. We get the same type of player, only with the physical aspect of Kovy's game not being replaced. I fail to see how this could ever be seen as a fair trade in the eyes of the OP. It's like wanting to trade an Audi A4 for a Jetta. Kovalev won't be traded unless Gainey gets an incredible absolutely one-sided proposal, and this is far from it.

Took 82 games last year for Kovalev to be our savior.
After 22 games this season he is now the team cancer.

It would be more like afiginov for a second round pick. He has been benched.

Kovalev has been a cancer 2 years ago, recovered last year, but its unfortunately back this year.. He is clearly dragging this team down, on ice, he is lazzy, selfish, slow, turn the puck over and over again, while Koivu is working like a crazy man every game.. The result? Koivu will break late december like 2 years ago and the boat will sink once again..

Your love for Kovy is really getting pathetic.. We win hockey games by pushing in the same direction, working hard for the same goal at the same time, Kovalev is exactly the opposite of what it takes for winning.. This guy is made for circus, not hockey!

Hashmi are they both supposed to waive their no trade clauses? why would Buffalo even do this? 2 players for 37 year old UFA.
