Same here. Not because I'm some rookie-fanboy or anything, but because it's the only logical choice.

1. It rewards a guy for working hard in the minors.
2. It sends a message to everyone that their ice time is supposed to be earned (especially if D'Agostini replaces a "name" player in the lineup), and is a much better option than playing your 4th line on the PP.
3. A youthful guy with something to prove may spark the team.

I miss Tanguay and Komisarek.

Gorges is really the man. The trade and the contract seem to look better and better everyday, but it was the same situation as Grabs. Gorges probably would have never gotten the chance in San Jose.

Meh, I'll admit it. I want him in the lineup because I'm a rookie fanboy.

any chance brunet laces them up?

If we have to suck, might as well be reminiscent as well.

first line IMHO

(when he is back)

tangs - koivu - akost (wow amazing is it not?)

yes yes akost better chem with sergei but for now i rather see the most productive and talented on one line (yes akost has been a madman as of late with his shots, hits, and set ups he has created)

imagine tangs vision, koivu's soldierism, and akost's sniper rifle and his dangles that suprise kovalev ACTUALLY WORK. not to mention tangs perfect positioning to usually score koivu's 7 feet 300 pound frame fighting the boards and akost's underrated playmaking. you know i thought it would be a pretty amazing line sounds perfect to me thoughts?

He might be able to show the team how to move their feet well....maybe that's the key!

I'm going to the game tonight and I'm feeling good about the game. We usually do good after humiliating losses, even this season. But since the Habs we see this season are completely unpredictable, I'm anticipating a loss. If only Carbo would stop being delusional and thinking Kostopoulos brings anything to Koivu's line, maybe we could win.

Anyway, let's hope Tanguay is in the line-up, this way we might win this one.

I hope we don't see again the 4th liners everywhere running like chickens without head which I garuantee will bring 0 points again.

This team won based on TALENT and SPEED, hope Carbo remembers that.
Don't rely just on defense and grinders, otherwise no playoff this centenial season.

D'Agostini in, O'Byrne out
posted by Dave Stubbs at 11h50 EST on Nov 29

Look for Matt D'Agostini to be in the lineup tonight vs. Buffalo, getting plenty of ice time on a line with Koivu and Higgins. Dandenault moves back to the blue line to take the place of O'Byrne, a healthy scratch for the fourth time this season. Tanguay and Laraque remain out. Price will be in goal.

WAHHOOOO!! Dagos RW?? WTF! LOL

Haha..great GDT pic habs425.

Interesting line up choices, I'm curious to see how well D'agostini is going to fit in with Koivu/Higgins.

The Kostitsyn brothers move to the fourth line with Lapierre. Message sent. Kovalev and Lang are reunited. Bégin with Plekanec and Kostopoulos. Defence combos likely Markov-Gorges, Dandenault-Hamrlik and Bouillon-Brisebois.

I don't think it's that bad to be totally honest. I think it has potential to be effective.

Honestly guys...if the PP clicks, it doesn't really matter what the line combos are...
