Jersey numbers

Looks like the Sharks gave Michalek #9 for this season after wearing 51 last year. Do you think guys like Goc, Zalesak and maybe Preissing will get their own numbers this year too? I know Preissing wore 20 in college which is Nabbys number, but I think 42 was just an assigned number. What do you guys think?

Edit: Looks like Goc wore 57 in Germany, so I guess he's not changing his number.

Michalek actually switched to 9 at the begining of the regular season (2003-2004). He only managed to wear it for two games. The change in number was announced at the same time they announced Davison changing from 38 to 5.

Ah... I was actually out of town the two games he played so I didnt get to see him, and it seems all the pictures of him online are in #51. Oh well.

Goc wore in his first 3 seasons in Schwenningen the #7, then he went to Mannheim, but there his brother wore the #7, so he changed to #57! The same in the german national team (Sascha Goc #7, Marcel Goc #57)! The Number 7 in San Jose is taken by Brad Stuart, so I think heŽll be wear #57 again!
