is it me or dandenault played a bad game on D (was lost on lots of shifts, still playing as a forward on defence)

Bring O'Byrne back

Gotta wonder if Sergei will be in the pressbox next game. Inexcusable how disciplined he was tonight.
I'm a Sergei fans (The one from last year and the O), but this season he's been brutal. Saw a few sparks of brightness, but tonight is the cherry on the sunday, he needs to be in the press box next game.

lol...ok we'll downgrade hate to dislike. I think we'll see A.Kost remain on the point on the PP. Now I just wish Carbo would put A.Kost with Koivu when Tanguay comes back from his injury.

try kovalev on the right point, best puck handler they have, akost is more of a sniper

but i also like lang and kovalev feeding eachother on the PP down low

Dude, you're asking too much. Christmas is a one-time a year event after all. Santa is one greedy bastidge.

I wasn't expecting much from Dandy on D, so I wasn't really disappointed with how he played.

But the one guy that really impressed me on D tonight was Breezer. He played a nice simple, solid game. I bash him enough, so I have to give him props when he plays well.

Dandy was better than I expected and certainly better than O'byrne.

Agreed 100% on both points. I actually was thinking this dated back to Boston last year during the playoffs last year. The rest of the league clued on to whatever it was Boston did.
And yes, not very often will I single out a player but SKost was brutal tonight. He's still young though...Sophomore blues maybe.

nice win
good effort all around
fowards were helping the D for a change, less time playing the trap
pp is still awful
just look at that 5 on 3 in the third
no one was moving, guys didnt know what do to like shoot or pass remove lang from the pp, guy plays with no intensity

Refs obviously didn't see this subtle charging hit I presume.

Kovalev played pretty well if you ask me, showed some hustle.

The problem is, the Habs won ugly again. Without Miller playing, they should have won big. Instead, they made some errors, they shot at the goalie many times, they lost a large number of faceoffs, they missed the net several times, and created at least two offsides. They even committed at least four icings that I can recall.

Not only that, the Habs allowed Buffalo tens of shots at the net, and it is very clear to me, that if they keep playing this way, they will continue to have trouble earning shutouts most games.

The team is going to have to play A LOT better than this if they are going to win their games by 10 or more goals like the fans want and deserve.

that is one part of the solution, perhaps...

Dandenault on D, O'Byrne more time in the press box, D'Agostini stays up front

Andrei Kostitsyn has to be on the point for all powerplays. Best one timer on the team by far from what I see.

Nothing to add to what has already been said other than Benoit Brunet was once again EXTREMELY annoying.

Oh sorry C, I was caught up with how cool the pic looked. I agree, there is no way a call shouldn't have been called on that play.

Effort was good, decent win. AK was great tonight, and I hope Carbo uses him more on the point.

With that said, our PP is in gigantic need of help. We're really offensively challenged right now because of it.

Please take Lang off the left side on the PP, especially on 5on3's, lost count on how many times Kovy has put it on his tape.
