I see Plekanec and Higgins as potentially 2/3 of the best third line in the league. No need to get rid of Higgins.

Once Lang is done here....

Tanguay-Koivu-AKost
Latendresse/Pacioretty-Maxwell/Sundin/other #2 offensive C-Kovalev
Higgins-Plekanec-SKost
Pacioretty/Latendresse-Chipchura-Kostopoulos
Begin or other 750k hustler, Laraque

In the meantime, the second offensive line is probably
Latendresse-Lang-Kovalev

Latendresse-Lang-Kovalev
Lapierre-Begin-Kostopolous

...sit Sergei for a few games...

i am saying he should go since this early summer, and really wanted him gone in 2006-2007

I was not watching much hockey before this

He did not looked out of place once last night. Nothing too fancy but he showed great things for a rookie. I like his patience. He never seemed to take hasty decisions when forced too. No crazy pass through traffic like Kovy and Plekanec are making. If his best option was to chip it in and go after it, he did it and performed well battling for the puck. I hope they put him with Koivu and Tangay and see how it goes.

I'm sorry but I had to. Been a while since I called something right.

It's good that D'angostini is playing well. It will give S.Kost and to a lesser extent Lats a lot of motivation.

...now if Kovy could score one, we'd be in business.
