the first line is obviously promissing , but unlike most posters, I love all the lines...

the fact that begin and lapierre are playing with quality players is good, and vice versa ... they will force guys like kovy to simplify their game... and show flashes of genious .... instead of trying to make pretty play all the time.

the 4th line is one of the most intelligent lines , ever. 3 players , using their body , same pace....

we are in for a surprise... imho.

i dont get why carbo keeps playing A.Kost on the LW where he is not really effective. He is way more productive on the RW and usually gets all his points there. open your eyes carbo

Thanks Mcphee. I was starting to wonder if I'm on everyone "ingore list"

Carbo's not at liberty of screwing around in practice with Lines that'll never see the day.

If we were playing solid hockey with everything going well, then sure have some fun. That's not really the case for us.
But some changes should be made seeing as Tanguay and Laraque are expected back according to RDS.

Still, I wanna try smoking whatever it is Carbo's toking.

Well, here's some extra pertinent info from RDS which will likely change the line-up for tomorrow:

Sergei Kostitsyn ne devrait pas jouer puisque Carbo n'apprécie pas son indiscipline.

-Kosto & Komisarek were not at practice

-Tanguay & Laraque should play tomorrow

-Sergei will likely be in the press box

-Also not quoted is that Dandenault should be on D and Price in nets. No word on O'Byrne but I gather this means he's out. Also no word whether Kosto is just out for the day or whether he's not expected to play tomorrow.

I've never been a big Carbo fan, but really? In practice? What the hell is practice for if not to practice things? The coach is supposed to make a final decision by practice the day before and go with it in the following day's game no matter what now? Damn, we have demanding fans...

Sergei deserves the trip to the press box and next stop is Hamilton if he doesn't get his **** together.

I seem to remember Lapierre making a cross ice pass to the open man for a goal last game. Honestly, right now Lapierre is playing better hockey than Plekanec in all aspects of the game.

Tanguay - Koivu - AK46
Latendresse - Lang - Kovalev
Higgins - Plekanec - D'Ago
Begin/BGL - Lapierre - T-Ko

That's what i'm hoping for tomorrow.

Worst set of lines I have ever seen... I honestly cannot fathom how Carbo comes up with his combos sometimes. I don't see any reason or logic with those lines.

I only like the Koivu-AKost combo but haven't 99.9 % of people who follow the Habs concluded that Akost has to play on the RIGHT side?

Why the hell is Begin playing RW? What the hell is that 4th line going to accomplish besides making the Thrashers fall asleep at the wheel?

I really hope that we don't see these lines tomorrow night.

Yah, I think this is pretty good.

Maybe trade Lang with Plekanec.

lol...sadly no, but I recommend installing a punching bag close by your computer. It helps with the stress, and I haven't thrown my laptop once this year.

Oddly enough, I do it myself at times. Incredibly quite hypnotic (cue that Jean-Luc Picard youtube).

Okay, Sergei deserves to be benched. D'Agostini will put pressure on people to perform since Carbo and Gainey are giving him a chance to succeed now. But, Dandenault on D was horrid last game, I guess we;'re lucky it's only Atlanta, but if Dandenault and the fourht line is out versus Kovalchuk, I will lose it. I honestly don't think O'Byrne sees any games while we're at home for a long while. They are protecting him.

Well both Tanguay and Laraque are suppose to play tomorrow and Sergei will be sitting, so those won't be the lines if all that happens.

I find myself doing it all the time. I got a bit of a break while you were away for awhile. *Which sucked since I like your posts*. It's got to be one of the coolest avatars on the Habs board.
