I seriously doubt it. Downie may be a lot of things, but stupid with a death wish isn't one of them.
Why would Downie fight Cote? That would be like Richards fighting Boogard. It's stupid.

And it sucks so much to see Downie in that jersey.
These orange jerseys should be a permanent fixture but I have to admit I like the 80s/90s orange jerseys more.

Gary Stevens puts Silver Charm in gear.
And here comes Free House.
Touch Gold is in fourth.
Silver Charm and Free House are at it again.
Touch Gold is in third.
Three of them in a line!
Touch Gold. Touch Gold wins it by half a length. What a Belmont!

Oh there is no dought he can be contained. Hes not dominant, yet. He has just been playing extremely well of late. If he played on a team that scored any goals, he would be getting a lot of points lately.

I love how the league has come down very hard on Avery for his jackass comments, yet every sports channel on the planet is showing it.

I remember hearing an announcer describe a cheap rebound goal that way once.

They say no press is bad press, but everytime the NHL makes the real sports stations, it's always about something bad that's happened and it never increases interest in the game. Avery just makes the sport look bad in this instance.

That quote is special. The "Enjoy the game tonight" ending is simply fantastic.
I'm not sure he could craft anymore of a perfect A-hole quote.

It's nice to see Briere on the PP. It's a totally different feel.
