they'll come out flying, redden will get beat a shot from a bad angle will bounce in off of a leg of a 3rd or 4th liner. They'll lose composure, go 0-5 on the pp and start to press leading to countless oddman rushes for crosby/malkin resulting in a 4-1 drubbing that without lundy wouldve been 8-1. The beat marches on...

p.s please prove me wrong NYR.

Let's Go Rangers!!! I believe in this team and the defense and especially Hank. He needs to stay focused and take care of business. The offense, I think, could have a breakthrough day of sorts.

Naslund-Gomez-Zherdev: 2 guys that love to/are very capable of handling the puck and 2 guys that can snipe. This line, if they click, can cause a lot of problems with their skills/speed.

Korps-Drury-Callahan: Hard working line with guys that can score. They'll all cycle, shoot, and work to keep the puck in the other teams zone.

Prucha-Dubinsky-Voros: Dubinsky has been the pivot that seems to get players going. He can stick handle, set up teammates and shoot the puck well himself. Voros works hard and can create havoc in the slot. Prucha can cycle a puck, is good at keeping it in the zone and hopefully can bury his chances tonight.

LGR! Give Cindy and Gina something to cry about...

Well, I'm not being pessimistic for no good reason. December is just not this teams best month

Hank already looks somewhat frustrated. He is handling himself better than last year, but I doubt he will be able to carry this team for another month without contribution from the defense. If he does, then I will forever be grateful to him considering he's already working harder than any goalie in the league.

On to the defense - they have been way too soft so far. I'm pretty annoyed by seeing many goals being scored because Redden, etc... aren't taking the body, especially in front of the net.

And lastly... we will get to see what kind of captain Drury really is in the next month when we have to consistently play teams that are on our level or higher. I'm disappointed in him. I don't expect him to put up a PPG, but he's on pace for 43 points, which is simply unacceptable, especially since he's gotten the best scoring chances of anyone on this team since the start of season.

Hey, im not saying your pessimism isnt warranted, but really all the pessimism around here is doing nobody any good right now. anything can happen still. im excited for this month BECAUSE it's gonna be tough and we'll know what kind of team we've got for real. Novemeber wasn't great after the good start in October, but the same team that played in October is still playing in decemember, and maybe they can find that spark they had then. maybe im being overly optimistic right now and if after this month they havnt shown us they have what it takes to compete ill be right on the pessimism train with you but until them im giving them a shot in decemeber and putting my faith in them.

Seriously.

Either a big Penguins win tonight or a semi-close game. Don't see the Rags pulling this one out tho.

Lets hope I'm wrong.

Goddard really wants another beatdown from Orr that bad?

Montreal was up 3-0 in the 3rd on Atlanta and the Thrash scored 3 goals in a minute. Habs came back to win, lets hope thats it for their luck this week

Should be a good one tomorrow night.

Why do players tell their agents random **** like that.

"Yeah, hey man, sorry to bug you so early in the morning. Just thought you might want to know that I'm planning to pick a fight with Colton Orr the next time I play against him. What? No, I don't need you to negotiate a new contract for m...what time is it? I dunno, 6am maybe? Hello? Hello?"

I really really want us to win. It hurts me so much when we lose.
I become sad and morose. After a losing game all I want is a hot shower and to go to bed.

Will tonight be a happy night? God, I hope so.

I will be back here at game time to cheer on our boys.

Let's Go Rangers
