Doesn't have anything to do with being a pro, Max just turns 20 before the end of the year.

How many on the roster are born in Manitoba?

How many from Nova Scotia?

AFAIK being professional isn't an issue -- Bergeron was a NHLer when he went to pwn the world with Crosby.

Of course, it's a moot issue since MaxPac is too old.

One of the Q coach who is with Team Canada said some interesting things as far as how the Q players are perceived so there is a relevance 'cause if taken seriously, it might change the way hockey is played over here. He said 2 things: First, most of our players aren't tough enough. Not talking about fighting, but talking about grit, talking about not giving up, talking about winning battles 1 on 1, along the boards and so on. Secondly, our players are not awared enough defensively. 2 things that Team Canada will always look for when it will come to choosing our players.

I'm not involve as far as Midget hockey is concerned, but seems to me that this whole system will need to be reviewed. Need to not dilute the talent but have a system that will permit to have better challenges for players. A sign that our players needs to be more complete so they could have a significant place in that team and even if it means to see more players drafted in the end.

I don't think it's a problem to acknowledge that their might be a problem and see what we can do to fix it. For once it went from "Canada is racist, they don't want players from Quebec" to " Maybe we are the problem and we need to turn this around"....Much better thinking.....
