No, it's all good he's gone, the **** he took here was redonculous.

Besides, wtf does he have to do with Denis/Halak? :p

A question to the OP: why on earth would you take Denis or even Desjardins over Halak right now? He's performed well and I'm sure the team still has confidence in him, the next Vokoun we'll be letting go imo.

Anyone feel like informing us of the waiver status of Denis? I wouldn't mind sending Halak to Hamilton just to get him some work in a few games. He's doing a lot of sitting around up here. Even if it's just for a week and start 3 games for the Dogs.

Denis does not need to clear waivers to be recalled, Halak would have to clear waivers so to send him down it would be on a conditioning stint only so he would have to agree to be sent down. I'd be surprised if they did that though. Not that I wouldn't mind seeing him get some games, I just don't think the club would do it at this point, too risky to have Denis around if Price got injured in a game and might not be a good idea to Halak's confidence as a guess.

Well he really should be getting more game reps than he is IMO. I guess, now that I look at it, he's gotten into 6 games out of 24, which isn't horrible. I'd prefer it to be more like 8 though, making the tandem 2/3 Price, 1/3 Halak until the stretch later in the season when we can turn more to Price.

He's 31 and still in the AHL. This is probably as good as he'll ever get. He might be able to get himself on as a backup/co-#1 with a bottom-10 team, but that's as far as he'll ever get.

I remember the year he played in the World Juniors.. he was excellent. I thought he'd do better than end up being a journeyman.
