I asked how old you were because you commented on seeing 'real superstars' and mentioned Jean Beliveau.

Considering he retired in 1971, again, how old are you?

Most likely old enough to be your dad.

But it's not my topic.

I really doubt you are old enough to be my dad, but you seem disinterested in answering.

So you want to tell people that "they don't know real superstars" because you've seen all the greats, and yet you won't reveal how old you are .... strange.

The team would have won 10-0 if Kovalev was in the pressbox, 20-0 if he was not in the city and 30-0 if he was back in Russia. Kovalev should stop having children to rid the world of terrible hockey players that do nothing but get primary assists. In fact the United Nations should eliminate the last name "Kovalev" from existence so planet Earth can move forward into peace and prosperity.
gotcha

Let me get this straight: You come in here and tell the board - sorry the "kids" on the board - that they don't even know what a superstar is, but *you* do, because apparently you're old enough to have watched Jean Beliveau's career - and yet unwilling to say your age to even back up this statement, and thats not personal?

Being passive-agressive, and incredibly condescending - you actually told people they don't even know what a real superstar is - and yet that's not personal?

Get off your high-horse and have a reality check.

I was coming here hoping IwishIhadaclue was going to explain how that Kovalev assist tonight where he wheeled into the zone, held on to the puck, drew three Ranger defenders then thread a pass across to Markov who set up Lang for the goal wasn't a great play that very few guys could have pulled off.

And yet, surprisingly, he's quiet.

Odd.

Even if Kovy scores 3 goals, and 2 turnovers. Its the turnovers that will get some people attention.

I truely beleive the goals are coming soon, he is creating too many chances and having to many oppertunities to not score. I think once he gets one, 4-5 more will come quickly after that.

You'd have to find room for Latendresse on that line!

Tonnes of room for him the pressbox, plus he had bring in a couple Big Mac's up there to stay 'in shape'.

He watched Beliveau play, so that makes him... 28.

I say we cut the tendons in Kovalev's arms that deal with his backhand. That would reduce his turnovers 100%.

I wouldn't be so sure. I'm going to a party tonight and well, you're getting married.

Odd.
Unlike some of the idiotic Lats bashers of this board, I can admit when I see something good from Kovy, but this is ONE game nothing else change the fact he was downright horrible for the last 20 or so

Very costly penalty in the offensive zone tonight at the end of the game, costing us the game...
