I'd rather talk Cowboys in the GDT

Why do the Mavs have to be placed ahead of the Rangers?

Mavs have come closer to winning a championship
however they seem to maybe going in opposite directions. Maybe next year is the year they make the playoffs. Would be the first time since the 'roids days

I'm just joking around, but they do appear to be going in opposite directions.

Here's my sports question for this thread. Woo has the better chance of winning a championship this year? Stars or Mavericks?

Well, Rangers offense should be exciting in 2009 and beyond. The farm system is going to produce a lot of pitchers for us in 2010 as well.

I will use this thread to update Devin Harris' box scores as he continues to his ascendancy to the top of the NBA.

On second thought, why can't we discuss the Burn in here too? Or what about the horse races? The topic headline is just so limited.

I think the Rangers should have separate but equal thread.

I hate baseball and don't want to have to read about it.

Now we can't talk Rangers or Cowboys. They play in Arlington.

Are we going to start an all Arlington sports?

If that the case, I'd also like a Frisco thread for the RoughRiders and that other soccer club.

Since we have this new thread open, I'll share my evening with everyone. I had to go to the Mavs game tonight. I don't like basketball, but loathe professional basketball. Tonight was a good example of why.

Gone is the day when a Mavs fan could go to a game and enjoy the sport, because the the Mavericks organization doesn't actually have basketball games. They have a sideshow with a basketball contest going on during it.

Everything else that went on made it seem like some sick circus. Music during the entire game. Chants of defense during every single defensive turn, even though there's no such thing as defense in a game where 100 points are expected by both teams.

Thanks, Lobo. Now we can even talk about polo.

Seriously what happened to the million dollar half court shot, was much better than the odd things that pass off for talent they got out there now.

Laird is apparently close to getting traded, maybe to Detroit or Cincinnati.

I'd be happy with a Teagarden/Salty platoon next year if the Red Sox aren't going to give a good enough return for one of the young catchers.

Exactly. It's the simplicity of design that can be most appealing, rather than the weird clothing magic show they had tonight.

So you are not betting anything of substance?

Pretty rich how Hull is comparing his signing of Avery to Daniels' signing of Josh Hamilton.
