very classy by the canadiens. cant believe they brought rangers greats for this. You dont often see teams celebrating the history of the opponent. Just classy all around.

You got that right.

Im even more surprised the Bell Center isnt booing the Rangers players as they come on the ice.

My Time Warner Cable box has suddenly decided to do some sort of update now, so no MSG for me.

BOO!

Maybe I'm used to the roar of the Garden, but the Montreal crowd seems very subdued. The applause seems almost polite, even for the Canadiens.

i have been critical of how much montreal has been patting themselves on the back this season, but this is a very nice, classy presentation, and putting the rangers legends right out there with the montreal ones.

This is a very classy ceremony on Montreal's part. It's one thing to honor your own team, but it's extremely thoughtful to honor the opponent you're playing against at the same time. The fans are extremely respectful too.

Aaargh. I mean, I think the ceremony is very nice and all, but the time they drop the faceoff will be closer to 7:30 than 7:00. I set my alarm clock to mainly watch the game, because I get so little sleep as it is. So it's kind of annoying being an amateur when I guessed the game would actually start. I guessed 7:10 and was way, way wrong.

That was an extremely classy salute by the Canadians. Definitely a Class A organization.

I'm a Habs fan, but I'm recording it on DVD (probably won't be the greatest quality), but I plan to upload it at some point.
