He had a couple of bad hits on the same shift. Both worse than Upshall's the other night.

Timonen tweaked his shoulder and thinks he will play Saturday.

The Flyers specified that Gagne's injury is not concussion-related, for what that is worth.

That's a relief, but he's still hurting.

if i'm homer, i'm talking with the jackets about acquiring Leclair.....

and, i'm sure not talking with Biron's agent, unless i'm asking for some money back!

Thanks, MSE. Sounds good, could have been a hell of a lot worse.

Holmgren said it was dehydration. He's fine.

Biron is making mistakes with the puck, but it's no reason to trade him. If you guys want Pascal Leclaire, I hope you're all comfortable with Niittymaki playing a lot more since Leclaire is in and out of the MRI room as often as an alcoholic is in and out of a bar.

“I felt a little bit sluggish this morning and the same thing in the warm-up today,” Gagne said. “I played the first and second and felt like I was running on an empty tank. They put some fluid in me and I felt better.”

Gagne said he slept most of Wednesday and didn’t eat much the past two days because his stomach was bothering him.

“It may be flu or something going on right now, the stomach didn’t feel very good the last two days,” Gagne said. “I’m not worried about anything. It’s not related to concussion. I didn’t get hit, either. I just felt sluggish … Maybe it’s a bug.”

I'm glad someone else noticed this besides me. You hate to say that a guy shoots too much, but Sbisa shoots too much. Enough to the point where opponents are up close to him because they're not afraid of him passing it. Some may be quick to forget that Scott Hartnell's glove throw doesn't happen if Ryan Malone doesn't block Sbisa's shot from, oh about 2 feet in front of him.

Sbisa plays like an 18 year old sometimes.

Which is what I was afraid of and so many took me to task for. Playing like an 18-year old is ok in September and October, we're into the second quarter of the season, and I don't care if Sbisa is 18, he's gotta play like he's been around the block even if he hasn't yet. As the '18-year old' moments rack up, so does its intolerance.

just saw the game, looks like another game that we should have won with wide open nets and miraculous saves with refs blowing whistles too early. We had the game won in the first period. Then we give them the puck on an icing call and they tie it on a weak shot and then they get a 1-4 goal...These are winnable games, time to start finishing more. Guys like Lupul really need to start scoring or it may be time to move on....

As long as Gagne is not out with any kind of shoulder, groin, or head injury he should be ok. Last thing we need is another LTIR.

I wonder if Sbisa will be sent back to the juniors to make room for Jones/Parent when they return.

I'm beginning to think that Gagne has IBS. He sure does have "the flu" or "a bug" a lot.
