San Jose...22-3-1

What the...

Number one offense and about third or so in defense.

I remember Montreals 60-8-12 season. Only lost 1 home game that year.

If you include playoffs and preseason, the Habs only lost 10 games that year...crazy!!

This years choke is gonna be spectacular.

Here is my prediction.

Western Conference Finals or Stanley Cup finals. Game Seven. Tie game. Overtime. Next goal wins the Cup or birth to the Cup.

Joe Thornton, receiving a pass from young sensation Setoguchi. Twists around a defender and with his thunderous horse legs, rushes toward the net. This is a breakaway. This is a career defining moment and...

he loses the puck between his legs.

The team gets so deflated that they take a bad penalty (Probably from late veteran call-up Claude Lemieux) and the Sharks are eliminated with a power play goal.

It will be beautiful

Nah, they'll just lose agains an 8th seed Nashville. Then they'll go golfing with Thorton's buddies from Boston

It is amazing what they are doing so far. I mean they are even making Boucher look like Brodeur in nets.

On the ensuing PP : Markov has it, cross ice to Kovalev, the rest will be history.

They win every game and battle pretty hard but for some reason I believe they will still have trouble in the playoffs.

I don't want to hear a single thing about the Sharks until they do something in the playoffs. Always making me look stupid by picking them to go far. They've basically had 5 100 point teams since 2000 with only 1 Conference Finals to show for it.

With Blake and Boyle and the extra year to Vlasic back there, this time the Sharks IMO are for real.I don't think the Wings or anyone else can stop them this year. They finally have the experience with the additions of Blake and Boyle

San Jose is a great team. No doubt they make it into the playoffs, as a second seed, AT WORST!!!, but until they do something big in the playoffs, they are still a question mark, imo, so.....

Pretty sure Buffalo was having a great run toward the cup, but the playoffs ate them up. So I don't judge a team's playoff run by their season.

all it took was to get ron wilson out of there. Having said that, this team's success will be measured in the playoffs. So far, so good.

The tone of their board is certainly no longer as annoyingly cocky or sarcastic, and I for one couldn't be happier.
