Markov needs to score more points

We need to get more points out of Markov.

We have a record of 12-2-1 when Markov gets at least 1 point.
When he doesn't score we are 3-4-3.

I think this really shows his importance to the team.

Well he does have 20pts in 24 games...he's a top 5 scoring dman right now

But i've said it countless times over the years, as Markov goes, so do the Habs.

Never thought of that. We have a pretty good record when D'Ago scores too.

Not really... It's more like when Laraque gets a point we win cause it means the other team is in deep ****.

What we need is to get Markov doing drills where he pinches in to the back post on the left wing and one times a cross crease pass high short side.

Well, he doesn't need to, but he could have had a couple more goals in the last couple of games if he had hit the short side instead of going to the far side and hitting the goalie. It's a minor issue though considering what he brings to the team.

What's Habs record when Higgins score hat-trick ? How about the record when Price gets a shutout ?
Ask them to do that, then Habs would be unbeatable.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious flaw in logic. I was going to write that we should score more goals than the other team, because we always win when we do that.

He's one of the 5-10 best d-men in the NHL but doesn't always get the recognition because he is a low key guy and he relies as much on vision and hockey sense(both are ++ skills for him) than pure tools. He makes some real hard plays look easy like the pass to Lang last night.

Yep.. I think he's playing as well as he can right now. That TO game seems like a nightmare of the past.

Mike Komisarek, 3-0 as Assistant coach.
Who here saw Carbo's reaction after the game last night?
I dunno who he was talking to but he specifically said "3 and 0", and you saw the hand gesture.
Might of been about D'Ago? Or maybe... the ONLY undefeated Assistant Coach in the NHL... Mike Komisarek!!

Markov should have gotten an assist on the O'Byrne goal

He said in his press conference that he was talking to Komo.

Why would anyone want to trade Komi? This Adams guy better be good.

I dunno about that. He might be, but in no way can he be considered a blue-chip prospect.
