Do they put the C on or not? Any thoughts?

No, they don't. I got mine through River City Sports because they put the C on it. Mine arrived yesterday and it's so beautiful I don't even want to wear it!

I ordered a replica "blank or customized" version of Gagne's jersey (not the one that was premade without the "A", the A was the whole reason I just did it myself) and instead of stiching the numbers and letters on, they are heat pressed. Also they have this fake stitching pattern on them that's kind of tacky.

So, if you want the C and just decide to get a "blank or customized" jersey from NHL.com, know that you'll be getting a heat pressed jersey if you get a replica.

Note: If you order from NHL.com and get anything less than authentic customized (for a mere () $300) you'll get lousy numbers and nameplates.

They'll use a 'simulated' customization set that isn't layers of material like the real thing. It's fine from a distance, but not when you look at it close.

I'd recommend rivercitysports.com, icejerseys.com, or sportsk.com. They'll get you the good stuff at a decent price.
