Unfortunately the current trend resembles 2006-2007 moreso than 2007-2008.

The difference being that we relied a lot more on our PP that year than this year (19.5% at this point then to 14.5% now).

For a good laugh I posted this on the Devils board since they were mocking our physicality, and i thought I'd share it here as well.

Guys, please be hold of Guillaume Latendress at practice this morning. Note: this is his regular practice regime.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQXECBdPgEA

You can see him at the 0:56 second mark, also at the 1:57 minute mark, and at the 2:08 mark he throws an incredible Body Check, see how it;s done

---> See the rest of the Habs team at the 2:53 minute mark

Go Habs Go!!

To me the trend looks very different from both those seasons. One thing seems to stay the same though, around the 20 game and 40 game mark, we have a turning point.

Hey guys good luck tonight, I'm a Devils fan and made the trip up for the first time, looking forward to a great time and a great game.

Some of you mentioned the boring thing, trust me, we are anything but that now, we're more like a Jekyll and Hyde team, hopefully we show up tonight, I think they will after an epic game in Philly on Wednesday.

Here's to a good game!

Anybody see the ridiculous error in the journal de Montreal where Touchette usually does his prediction for the game and he says "Ovechkin is in town tonight and he will score 2 goals but the Canadiens will win by 2." I guess Ovechkin got traded to New Jersey.

I update it sporadically, more often if the Habs are doing well because I'm in a better mood.

If anything interesting develops with it I'll post it in a GDT.

we are talking about the devils system, but the habs system is alot tighter since they started winning. The habs have been much more successful at being patient and waiting for their chances rather than trying to force plays with their high level talent. If the habs stick to what's working for them, we are going to see quite the chess game.

I think this game could very well come down to who makes the first mistake.

Only reason I'm worried is because on the other end of the rink won't be a future hall of famer admiring his eventual successor like last time.

Of course, when I worry, I don't mean worried we'll lose. Just worried it'll be a close one
