He looks bad out there, but he's actually quite effective. I hate watching him out there, but his stats are OK.

I'm not blaming Kovy on this one. He was doing what he was doing ALL NIGHT, which was fighting for every inch on the ice, and never giving up on the play. The opponent steps on his stick which was down on the ice where is should be, and dives to the ice to get a call. Pathetic.

Anyway, AK27 was among our hit leaders, besides generating several GOOD scoring chances, and played inspired hockey, but without the hoped-for results.

I guess he is just Whitesnakebit, and things will turn around soon.

I would think about either a trade or just getting rid of Breezy's ass somehow if at all possible.
O'Byrne does NOT have to clear waivers.....yet.

Ever play net and have to deal with side to side? He made the save and slid to cover otherwise the game is over right there. In that position the D has to clear the puck or disrupt. 4 on 3 is a killer when they tighten the noose like that. price did all he could do

That is an interesting statement since Carbo gives most of his PK duties to these guys. How can the coach think they are responsible in their end during PK and then 5 on 5 they blow?

Maybe the real issue is that they don't click as a line and somebody else should be inserted instead of Higgins. Maybe SKost with Kovy and Lang with Higgins joining Pleks and Tanguay for a game. Kosto could join Lats and Begin who both deserve to play right now.

These guys deserve to unwind after a game. They got a point after a tough OT loss so what do you want them to do sit around and mope? Win or lose the players always need time to unwind.

I dont understand the people who cant give credit to the other team and instead they say that the Habs played half a game. The Habs outplayed the Devils badly in the first portion of the game, but when you miss so many chances and you dont convert on your PP chances, the other team gains in confidence. It happens. The Devils really took it to the Habs in the 3rd rather than the Habs not showing up. This team needs to find a way to score on the PP if they want to be among the best in the league.

The effort was there, who many missed chances? That was unreal!

Are you sure? I think he is waiver eligible - he's at 3 yrs./80 games.

Probably because the "birthday" is over and the All Star game is quickly approaching.

Just a guess.

They already are among the league's best. Only 4 teams (Detroit, SJ, NYR, BOS) have more points than the habs and one of them has played 3 more games than the habs and are only three points ahead (Rangers).

Sorry...misunderstood. I thought you meant they were uncaring and didn't give a rat's behind about the game.
